I think they should overlay on each other properly, basically reprojecting on the fly. I have seen NAD83 imagery work well with WGS84 imagery in AGOL so I assume this should work too. One way to find out!

It sounds like a Join would work here. If your polygons have a room number and if your data points have the same exact number, those should join up will. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/tables/joins-and-relates.htm https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/add-join.htm Though, the join is just tabular, however, you could make new data points from the centroid of each polygon after the join is completed.

I am not sure why AutoCAD is not recognizing the EPSG 4326. From looking at other AutoCAD forums and such, it might be an AutoCAD issue. Could you perhaps try a different WKID of the same WGS84 system (like 3857 or 102100) and see if that helps?

I am wondering that since WAB and the crowdsource maps do not fully support 'grouped' layers in the table of contents if that is causing the problem. I am not really sure without testing it thoroughly like you are doing!

Jason, This is tricky stuff and one that is not easily solved. When you say the data is on top of each other, what does that mean? Is it in the right place still? Or somewhere completely different? When you export to a UTM (and I assume NAD83) and it comes in fine, does this mean that your CAD environment is set that way? I don't deal too much with AutoCAD but my CAD operators use MicroStation mostly. I will export a dgn file with a PROJECTED coordinate system (like UTM Zone 12N NAD83) and it will come in fine. When that doesn't work out, I will export a shapefile with the same coordinate system and that will come in fine as well when the CAD operators import the shapefile. Can you export a shapefile and see if that comes in properly? I would also suggest using a projected coordinate system instead of a plain geographic coordinate system.

Ken, what app are you trying to use to see this grouping of basemaps? And can you view non-grouped basemaps? I have seen similar behavior from similar data sources. I was making a story map and my embedded web map would not show the basemap if it was a wmts from the UGRC or so, like any of these: So I had to stick with default Esri basemaps.

The first thing you need to do is Add a Field and make sure you make it numeric. If you just need integers (whole numbers), choose Long as the data type. If you need a floating point decimal, choose Double as the data type: Now that you have this new field, DIA, right click on it and choose "Calculate Field": If you need to convert to an integer, in the field calculation box type this: int(!LAYER!) If it's a floating point, type this: float(!LAYER!) Make sure Python 3 is chosen as your Expression Type:

Hi Ken, Can you show a screenshot of what you're seeing? In my experience, if I tried using an application like Story Maps, I cannot view a basemap that has vector tiles on it. The only basemaps that I can view within the story map app are just simple raster/image-based basemaps.

I don't have much experience with Image Server but could you completely delete the existing service and then publish a fresh new image service so that there should be no chance of seeing the old service?

Yes. Once they import the layer package, it is theirs to make do with. They can do whatever they need to do. The benefit of the layer package with GIS files is that it will work for shapefiles, geodatabase feature classes, etc.

That is good to know! Layer packages work in ArcMap too: https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.6/map/working-with-arcmap/creating-a-layer-package.htm I know you said that you saved as a 'layer', but the layer package is more 'guaranteed' in my opinion!

What software are you using? In ArcGIS Pro you can save the shapefile as a Layer Package. This way all things get preserved in this process, including symbology. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/layer-package.htm

Yusef, I know it doesn't seem intuitive but could you try increasing the size of the "word wrapping" to see if that helps widen your words? I know it says for labels and descriptions but I wonder if it would stretch out your layer names too:

Helen, I have a feeling that this is "normal" behavior. I would suggest having a "zero" location that is your initial landing spot to pick up this lag, and then when it is time to go to location 1, it will behave properly. But that is a cool map and experience builder!
