Hi Nate, I would imagine that if your invasive species point sits on top of a management unit polygon, then Spatial Join should bring across that attribute of which polygon unit it is in. Is that not happening? Then you should be able to label from that management unit polygon attribute.

Hi, I am trying to 'trick' my labels into line features. I have labels on my map that I want to be completely converted into lines, where each letter is its own line feature. Does that make sense? I have tried going from labels to annotation to Feature To Line; going from labels to graphics to Graphics to Features, and so on. These methods aren't working. I don't want to completely retrace each letter in each label into it's own line feature. Is there not a magic button to do this? You may ask why... Well, one thing is, I want to display line labels from a KMZ into a Google Earth map. This is my way of attempting to trick it. I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.0. Thanks!

What happens when you click on the Analyze button at the bottom? Does it list what errors are preventing the publishing? Can you post a screenshot of your Share As Web Layer dialog?

Simon, Have you tried other browsers? Incognito browsers? And clearing your browser cache? Just trying to rule out all other issues!

I find that if I just copy and paste a raster from the table of contents in one Pro instance to another opened Pro instance, all my symbology comes with it (this is not adding data, just copying and pasting). Perhaps a more solid way of doing this is by making a layer package from the raster and sharing it that way: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/layer-package.htm

There are many factors that could cause a long delay in a geoprocessing task. Is the raster excessively large? What is the file format of the raster? When is the last time you closed all your Pro instances and re-opened them? And sometimes a computer needing a restart could cause delays too.

Adding to Robert's comment, after making the TIFF from the PDF, you could then georeference the image onto your map to make digitzing easier. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/imagery/georeferencing-tools.htm

Oh ok, I thought you mentioned copying records/rows. The way I do it is first select the layer in the table of contents. Click on the Data tab at the top, then the Fields button. This opens up your fields (columns). From here you can select as many fields as you need to and Copy them to the clipboard. Then you can paste those same fields (columns) into your other feature class by selecting that feature class (or table), going to Data and then Fields (like before) and just doing a Paste. I hope this helps!

Jason, If you're copying records (rows) from a table that has the same attributes (fields/columns) as your feature layer that you're copying into, it seems that Append is a good tool to use for this. What problems have you found with append? Maybe Copy Rows could be an option too (depending on what you're doing)? https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.8/tool-reference/data-management/copy-rows.htm Or maybe even copy features? https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/copy-features.htm (perhaps just plain copy and paste: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/copy-and-paste-using-the-clipboard.htm)

Jim, It doesn't appear to be as straight forward as it was in ArcMap but there is a way, kind of. Looking at this thread: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/how-to-change-legend-patch-shape/td-p/623637 It is discussed and then here is the Esri link for sort of instructions on doing this: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/symbolize-feature-layers.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_A1F24F1750E0466E9DD56C089419ABC8 Hope this helps!

Try clicking on the List By Labeling option at the top of the table of contents to make sure all your check boxes are checked on for labeling: Also, check your zoom ranges (set to <None> if you don't want a zoom range) and check your expressions to make sure they are not limiting you:

Jason, Does this site allow you to go through the tutorial? https://learn.arcgis.com/en/projects/share-the-story-of-an-expedition/ Also, take a look at this stie: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/5d49a2cb04e5cb3ac549b8a7/getting-started-with-arcgis-storymaps/ For learning ArcGIS Pro, the best MOOC is coming up on Cartography. I would highly suggest signing up for that course that starts mid-February. It's free: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/596e584bb826875993ba4ebf/cartography./

Can you publish the layer from ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap (instead of just uploading via zipped file)? Also, why can you not use hyperlinks from a shapefile? What happens when you try?
