Just adding to the masses... UDOT (Utah Dept of Transportation) has a great Open Data portal where you can get nearly all of their data in an easy-to-use fashion. It is great for non-GIS users: Home | UDOT Open Data

Hi Carole, It sounds like you would benefit from using the Network Analyst extension (if you have this). Here is a tutorial on using this: About the ArcGIS Network Analyst extension tutorial—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Hi Ted, This is an interesting question. I guess it would make sense that you can see the URL once the service is public (same goes for files). And you're probably right about the data repository thing too. Though, I can see links to 'services' that are only shared in my organization and cannot see them publicly.

Hi Jessica, I guess I'm not fully sure of what you are wanting to accomplish. Do you mean the regular pop-up that occurs in ArcGIS Online? If so, you can 'configure pop-ups' to add what you need to add: Configure pop-ups—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

Hi Mervyn, Have you tried right clicking an selecting "What's Here?" This will bring up x/y coordinate locations for you (similar to Google Maps behavior).

Brian, This may be extra picky but it looks like there are five spaces for the indent in line 27 (where it should be four). I would hope python code could get around that, but I don't know. If not that then, do you need to start an edit session for UpdateCursor? I was not aware that you needed to (but I do not have a ton of experience using UpdateCursor (oh, just answered my question about the Edit session and cursors looking at this thread: can't edit row with arcpy.da.updatecursor in arcmap)

I did find some GitHub tools through an Esri blog: ArcGIS Online admin tools available on GitHub | ArcGIS Blog But these have not appeared to be updated in two years. Though Owen Evans is the owner of the tools. Maybe he can chime in?

Hi Matt, It does not look like this can happen automatically, at least from the documentation that I have read: Invite and add members—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Select a role. You cannot select administrator or a custom role with organization administration privileges during the invitation process. You can change the role after the member has joined the organization.

Hi Jesse, I am guessing that this would require custom programming of the filter app in order to do something like that. You can get into this program from Esri's Github: GitHub - Esri/filter-template: Filter is a configurable application template that displays a map with an interactive fil… tagging: Gregory L'Azou
