@MikeHorree - Thanks for posting this idea. We are considering adding the ability for authors to upload icons, but we don't have it on our roadmap for a specific time just yet. Do you have very specific icons that you need (for example custom icons from your organization), or does the picker just not have the ones you are looking for? We are already working on adding more icons/categories to this set. Please let us know what you need and we can try to fill your request.

Thanks for posting, @KelseyBang-Olsen. Could you share a bit more about your idea so we can better understand what you are looking for? Are you envisioning the pinned section of text to be in the side panel of the tour or would it be be above the tour block (spanning the entire width of the browser window)? Have you seen how the categorized tour layout works? It has its own title and description and navigation bar. The text isn't pinned, but let us know if that is similar to what you mean. Here's an example of a categorized tour you can review and some blogs with more info: PUBLIC ART IN KITCHENER Use — or create — a feature service to build a map tour in ArcGIS StoryMaps Create a data-driven map tour

@AR7 - All content does need to be loaded in the print preview for it to appear in the PDF, so you do need to wait and/or scroll through the story to make sure the content is there before printing. One thing you can do to improve how the dashboard looks in the PDF is to add an alternative image, which will be shown in place of the live dashboard in print preview. To do this, hover over the dashboard and click Options. In the Small screens section, click Image and upload a screenshot of the dashboard. This should also make it load a bit faster since print preview doesn't have to load the live dashboard. If you do not want the dashboard to be shown as an image on small screens, just switch back to one of the other small screen options after you create the PDF. (Either way, this change wouldn't be visible to readers unless you publish).

@SaraJL - Thank you for the update. I'm sorry that you appear to have another report of this. 😞 I wanted to reiterate that the current message does not appear simply if two people have the same item open in the builder. The message will also not appear if one person opens the item, makes a few changes, and then—after autosave completes for the first person's changes—a second person opens the item and makes changes. The message only appears when a branch in the editing activity is detected. In other words, when changes are made by different authors to the same draft state. For example, in the situation I described in my earlier message. Prompted by this thread, we have done extensive testing of these workflows over the last few weeks and have not been able to produce a situation where another author's edits are overwritten...except when we click the Overwrite button. As I mentioned earlier, we are making some visual changes in a release at the end of the month to further discourage people from choosing the potentially destructive option. Here is what the new message will look like. Here is the current message for comparison. This was a quick change we could make to try to minimize accidental overwrites in the short term. We are also still thinking about other things we can do minimize the chances of authors overwriting others' work while maintaining flexibility and will post here when we have more to report.

@TrinityMorris -- The behavior you've described means there is no URL configured for the button. After you type your button label text, make sure you click Edit (pencil icon on the toolbar) to add the URL you want your button to go to. If the Open in a new tab button is disabled (the second one on the toolbar, as shown below), that means there is no URL configured for the button. Once you add the URL that button will enable and your button should link to the site as expected. The text shown on the button is just a label, so even if you paste a URL in for this visible text, you still have to configure a URL for the button by clicking Edit.

@JacksonSchroeder - Thanks for the screenshot. The dragging trick mentioned in that thread works to remove blank space from the top of sidecar panels but unfortunately not from the bottom. As mentioned, we are working on providing a better way to delete empty text blocks and hope to add that in the next few months. For now, I would recommend that you insert a new slide in your sidecar. Then, in the narrative panel make sure that you click the green plus next to the blank text block in the state shown in the screenshot below. That should create a panel with only the image and no other blocks or spaces. You can then add the same background image to finish recreating the slide and finally delete the original, unwanted version of the slide.

We are looking at ways to provide the ability to delete text blocks, including blank ones. However, could you provide a screenshot of what you are seeing? If the space is at the top of the sidecar panel, it may not be empty text blocks.

@CallenKelley Hi - thanks for sharing this idea! Could you let us know more about how you would use this feature? The map tour is already enabled you to add images/videos and text for each place. There are four different layouts to choose from with different arrangements of content that cover a wide variety of uses. We are a bit concerned with making the map tour too complicated by also adding pop-ups on the map since they duplicate the purpose of the panels where you can already add media and text. If you want to provide information for locations on the map using pop-ups, you can create express maps, which have the ability to have pop-ups with images/video and text. And of course you can use web maps, web scenes, and apps from ArcGIS, all of which also have the ability to have highly customized pop-ups. Please share some more details about whether these existing features meet your need or provide additional detail about what you are looking to do so we can better understand how having pop-ups in the map tour would enhance the experience for your readers.
