I am using symbol property connections. I place specific Hex code values in a text field for each feature. I go through the procedure to use those hex values. It works great. Each polygon is the desired color. However, the legend only shows the base color that was the original color. I tried adding all values. Then I selected one and changed it to the Attribute Mapping field and it changed the color, but not in the symbol color list. How can I display the colors in the legend?

Personal Geodatabase are not recognized by Pro. You would have to use ArcCatalog. You can also right click on any feature in pro and select Data > Export Tables

So then create a temp attribute. Populate it with the right(<field>,3) and you will have a unique identifier However, it will still be 3 (or more) features per person. So perhaps you should also create new columns to hold the data from each. your sample shows at least 11 entries for Malcom Little so that will be a lot. Perhaps it would be best to consider a point for the Peoples and have the data in a related table

Most commonly the Web Maps you create are for use in Collector to get what you want. You will need to make a Web App using Web App Builder and related tables will show up in a pop up.

For the public version use the Map Image Layer which is not editable For the version you want someone to edit use the Feature Layer which is editable. You will need two Web Maps to do this. They will both run off the same Published Feature Service and data. Your editor will have to be designated in their profile be a CREATOR / USER

I am setting up label rules for the dynamic text labels for a layout. But the same question applies to dynamic labeling as well. The examples below are for dynamic text. When using the BGD formatting tag to create a background on your text is there a way to cause the box to go all the way around all the lines of text. I want it to look like this. The light blue box is accomplished simply by adding a back ground to the dynamic labeling box But when I use the BGD tag it comes out like this. And I would like to expand the Black area to look more like an envelope around both of the labels. This is how I have it set up right now.
