Our set up is similar to what Anthony Ryan links too. His appears to be ArcGIS Online. Our is running via Portal but we also have an AGO Online set up as well. What he has to show you would probably be a good way to start and demo.

Must be some corruption in the file itself. Though it is strange the table appears in ArcMap and not Pro Try moving the feature from ArcMap to a .gdb and view it in Catalog to make sure it is visible there.

Are your lines broken at the intersections? Create points from the end points of your lines. populate them with X,Y bring them into MS Access and run a query to look for duplicates. If the lines are not broken at intersections then generate points of vertices. It sounds like your not already in a geometric network, so you will probably have lines that are really close to each other but not actually touching. So then use the points and the Generate Near Table analysis to find lines and the distance to them. If it is only a few inches to feet then it is an area to look at first. This all makes a strong case for a geometric network, it gives you assurance that everything is connected and more accurate.

I did it because an electric utility I worked with had a pole inventory done and purchased high end air photos. They wanted to get off paper map books and go online. Paper map books necessitated the lines being several hundred feet offset so they would not completely cover the road. So I did this to easily keep track of where I had been in my mass move to move all the line to poles and ground devices.

WE do not because we need to be cognizant of NERC compliance and there is a lot of private information. We have an extensive online system but it is only visible to in house or contractors who have signed strongly worded agreements. I think a good bet would be to find another utility that has an online system and see if they are willing to demo it for your people. Some utilities have online outage view and things like that, but you may not find anyone showing their full system publicly as it would be hard to justify

Just create variable on what you want in symbols If your doing this so you can keep track of an area you have worked with. What I did one is I created an attribute and called it original shape length. I then populated it with shape length I then had the feature in two times using definition queries to make it visible if shape length = original and shape length <> to original. In the second one it would change the color and thickness of the line.

I am using Arcade but the SQL Query only accepts SQL However, returning the first six characters is not the issue. It is identifying those fields that have six or more characters so the label rules can be set up different. We have a Scale Attribute for defining at what scale labels are visible at, I ended up adding 2 new definitions to the domain to accommodate the longer labels. What I was hoping to find was a way to use arcade to show in that class only those labels that are 6 or more characters,

I can use a SQL Definition query for a feature like this LENGTH(ALTNAME)=6 and it works. when I try to use the same SQL query to define a class in Pro Maplex Labeling I get nothing but errors. My goal is to label with ALTNAME fields that equal 6 characters. Help says to use CHAR_LENGTH but it also results in errors. Is there a way around this or can I do it with an expression using Arcade, VB etc,,
