Thanks, that could be a workaround, if we'll end up with that problem consistently. Now it feels like we're having different variants of the print problems from day to day.

Hi @Scott_Tansley I'm having problem with printing secured services, somehow the problem changed from can't print secured services at all to the problem you described that it requiers 2 or more secured services to show up in the printed map. And now it's back at can't print at all... But I'm curios on teh security configuration the solved it for you. I our case we used to have almost all basemaps and operational layers shared with our organisation, and just some layers shared with specified groups. That's the layers causing problems. Recently I shared many of the layers and basemap to public, maybe that caused problem? When it just worked did you have the same security for all basemaps and layers? or did you share some layers only to some groups as well?

Hi @BenClark I have problem that is very similar to yours. I've also had a working custom print service, but now I can't print secured services. I'm sure that I published my print service from ArcGIS Pro since my custom layouts is in pro-format (.pagx). Do you remember if you published your custom print service from ArcGIS Pro or ArcMap from the beginning?? I've tried the Pro method without any luck, but the documentation and my skills aren't the best so I don't really know how to do it. I would prefer not redo my layout templates in ArcMap, (specially when 10.9.x is the last version to support services published from ArcMap.)

I've developed a measure and coordinate widget based on Tom Sellsteds Measure widget. Everything is fine in my development enviroment but when using my widget in my portal something wierd happens with some of my TextSymbols. All textSymbols get their font from a global-font variable. this.defFont = new Font("12px", Font.STYLE_NORMAL, Font.VARIANT_NORMAL, Font.WEIGHT_BOLD, "Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif" ); Some of my textSymbols display correctly and others incorrectly, when inspecting the html elements for the graphics my correct symbols has font-family="Arial, Helvetica, Sans-serif" but the incorrect one has font-family="serif, Arial" Does anyone has an idea how this can happen?? See attached screenshot

I'm working with labels as TextSymbols created for a GraphicsLayer, it doesn't seem to be a setLabelingInfo method for a Graphic layer. Your example is for a feature Layer right?

I'm building a widget where the user should be able to draw custom areas/polygons. I use the DrawBox dijit and limit the tools to "POLYGON" and "EXTENT" on creation (declarativ creation). My html tag looks like this: <div data-dojo-attach-point="drawBox" data-dojo-type="jimu/dijit/DrawBox" data-dojo-props='geoTypes:["POLYGON","EXTENT"],showClear:true,deactivateAfterDrawing:false' style="margin-top: 10px;"></div> So far it's all good, but I also want to give the user the possibility to apply a buffer, and when the user checks a checkbox for applying buffer I want to modify the drawBox to allow the user to draw a polyline or point as well since the buffer will make it a polygon. I've looked at the DrawBox.js and can't seem to find a suitable method for this, tried just change the value of this.drawBox.geoTypes but with no succes. Anyone know if this is possible?

I've spent a couple of hours reading about reinstalling webAdaptors och refederating ArcGIS Server wich I thought I might have to do to change our portal urls from machine.domain.com to a new DNS name. But are you saying it's as easy as just an edit in the portaladmin interface? certainly not easy to find but easy to do once you found it. Should I just edit the "Web adaptor URL" with my new DNS-name? as the example in the attached screenshot? @AngusHooper1 @JonathanQuinn

Did you ever figured this out @NaufalIhsan1? I would also like to change the name without refederating the server if it's possible. But in my case it's the other way, I want to change from machine name to DNS name.

Did you ever figured this out @AhmadAwada1 ? I might be in the same situation, the documentation here https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/10.8/administer/windows/administer-a-federated-server.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_00C7C2F508C143EBB84D708EC7186C57 says that: Unfederating a server site has several significant consequences and should not be done as part of routine troubleshooting. It is not easily undone and may have irreversible consequences. Removing a hosting server from the ArcGIS Enterprise portal renders existing hosted web layers unusable. Adding the hosting server back does not return the hosted services to a usable state. Only unfederate a site if you have a clear understanding of the impact. But I can't find any documentation of what the impact on unfederating a site really is. I know that all hosted data will be lost/corrupt. That's is not a big problem for us, the small amout of hosted data we currently have we can export and recreate afterwards. But what are the other consequences? what happends to all our layers published from ArcGIS Pro with reference to registered data? and all our wep apps etc.?

I marked Dans answer as the solution because it helpt me fix the first issue, that teh first error message was about. Then I got help from ESRI Sweden support to finally get my GP-task working, we tested lots of different variants on setting output variable in my python script until we figured out it should be #filename = "Hojdpunkter.dwg"
outputFile = os.path.join(arcpy.env.scratchWorkspace, "Hojdpunkter.dwg")
arcpy.ExportCAD_conversion(GridpointsZ, "DWG_R2010", outputFile)
arcpy.SetParameterAsText(2, outputFile) instead of my original code (that worked in our old 10.6, but not in our new 10.8.1) filename = "Hojdpunkter.dwg"
arcpy.ExportCAD_conversion(GridpointsZ, "DWG_R2010", filename)
outputFile = os.path.join(arcpy.env.scratchFolder, filename)
arcpy.SetParameterAsText(2, outputFile) problably won't help you @Arne_Gelfert with your problem, but maybe someone else that find this thread later on.

@Arne_Gelfert Hard to tell if we have the same problem or not. I our case we didn't uppgrade from 10.6 to 10.8.1 since we have a new server with a new installation of ArcGIS Enterprise. I'm not entirely sure I'm publishing my script exact the same way I did when it worked at 10.6, but I've tried so many ways that one of them should have been the same, my inital problem was a line in my python-script that I could remove. Now my problem is that no file is exported from the script, or in some cases it does but the GP-service doesn't return an url to it. Now I'm trying with a new model created in Pro, but have the same issues. I have a ticket with the support at Esri Sweden, if we find something that can be helpful for you I'll let you know.

Figured it out myself. If anyone else comes across this and wonder, Ii was a style/css issue, even though I added some styles for the legend in the css I hadn't looked through the (very long) style.ccs-file for LayerList. It already had a part with legend-styles where some parts (the missing ones) had the display property set to none which explains why they didn't show up. /*********legend css from LegendDijit************/
.jimu-widget-layerList .esriLegendService {
padding-bottom: 0;
}
.jimu-widget-layerList .esriLegendLayerLabel {
padding-top: 0;
height: 0;
display: none;
}
.jimu-widget-layerList .esriLegendServiceLabel {
display: none;
}
.jimu-widget-layerList .esriLegendLayer{

.jimu-widget-layerList .esriLegendMsg{

Hi! I'm extending the LayerList Widget by adding a tab container so that I have the layerlist in one tab and a Legend in the other tab. I've come pretty far but my problem is that my Legend does not show any layer names, group layer names or map service names. It only shows "layer swatches labels" if there is one. Se attached screenshot. I can't find any properties to the Legend dijit to control this behavior, and I have the styles for the labels in my css. Any ideas why the names doesn't show?
