Thanks, it's been a while since I looked at the credit usage page and had not heard things had changed. Glad to see things have streamlined. I'll just need to monitor file attachment usage. I think photo attachments will be where things could grow fast.

Maybe this is more of an AGO general question but I am wondering about estimating the credit usage for using survey123? A few questions would be: Publishing - does this consume credits as if you published a feature service from ArcGIS for Desktop? If so how would we best estimate it? Republishing - if you update your form and only publish the form package does this consume credits? If so how would we best estimate it? Exporting FGDB - if you go into the survery123 website to view your results and export a FGDB (or other options) does this consume credits? If so how would we best estimate it? Storage - I would assume that once a form is published the feature service stored would be treated the same as any other feature service on AGO? It would consume monthly credits based on the size? If so what is the best way to see that size to estimate costs? This tool is great and I have many potential applications for it's use but before we push any into service I want to get an idea on what our cost would be so we can plan and bill appropriately.

Got it, there is now a new form template and a blank version. I didn't realize this, template has all the details.

I downloaded the current version of Survey123 Connect. When I create a new survey I now do not see the full heading options as prior? They now stop after Column D, Hint?

Yeah go into the survey, where you can select to start one. In the top right is the menu option and you can delete the survey there.

Ok this seems like it should be simple, how do you define a default text field? I tried just using quotes and then not but either way the default text I want to show isn't being displayed. I have a field for TYPE which right now only has one option until we expand so I want to just default the text to the only option

Thanks, yeah I found those and then saw how it was handled in ArcPro. Just takes a little getting used to when you have been using ArcGIS for a while.

Is it possible to create a GUID in survey123? I know its not a good idea to use OBID as a key but I do not see a way to enable Global IDs.

You can change the title but it is a pain. You need to change it everywhere in your form and app then retitle all of the file/folder names. Easier to start new if you aren't too far

To export the data and attachments you would need to export the FGDB then open it in Arcmap. There is not a simple way to get the attachments out, the easiest is to write a script. I cant find the link now but search exporting attachments from FGSB or arcmap and you will see a few ways.

I got it, they treat the markers as layers in the properties. I guess easier but also completely different method for adding

Ok so I am used to ArcGIS and trying to force myself to learn all the common items in ArcPro, can someone help direct me where to set up line decorations in ArcPro? I need to add a directionality arrow to the end of my lines. In ArcGIS I would go into the Symbol Property Editor, goto the Line Properties tab, then I could select a line decoration. This would then show a single line with an arrow at the end showing direction. Where is this in ArcPro? I found line properties and I see you can add effects, one being an arrow effect but I do not want a double line, just the arrow on the end. Anyone know what effect that is or where I should be looking if it is not in the effects?

I was wondering with the upcoming new products being released that integrate into collector like ESRI Dispatcher and Workforce is there talk about integrating Survey123? From the demo's I saw those new products integrate pretty seamless with Collector, Navigator and I would love to see them also support Survey123 (though I know its ESRI Labs). The more we use Survey123 the more we like it over Collector for most items that we do not need to touch more than once or do not require multiple point collection in a record.

Not sure if this is the best spot but I did not see a Geoforms group. I am a little confused, I am very familiar with collector and survey123 but I am trying to learn a little more on geoforms. It's use seems pretty straight forward but can this be used offline? The documentation I see says no but I have found many topics relating to people using it offline? If so is there somewhere that I can review the requirements/process for offline use? I cant find much on this topic.
