Hi Graham, Thanks for the quick response. Here are a couple of code examples from different text boxes displaying this behaviour: <div style="background: rgba(107,159,144,0.8); color: #000000; padding: 20px;"><p><b>Skill level</b></p><p>Intermediate - you will need good reptile identification skills and understand how to survey for reptiles</p><p><b>Number of surveys: </b>6</p><p><b>Time commitment</b></p><p><img src="" data-filename="image.png" style="width: 30px;"><img src="https://arc-trust.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/614878c93749468aaa253dc44973083b/data" alt="Clock icon"> 30-180 minutes per survey</p></div> <strong><ol class="breadcrumb"><li style=""><a href="https://www.arc-trust.org/Pages/Category/what-we-do" style="">What we do</a></li> <li style=""><a href="https://www.arc-trust.org/Pages/Category/projects-campaigns" style="">Projects & Campaigns</a></li><li style=""><a href="https://monitoring-arc-trust.hub.arcgis.com/" style="">Monitoring</a></li><li class="active"><b>Widespread amphibian monitoring</b></li> </ol></strong> <h1><strong>Widespread amphibian monitoring</strong></h1><strong></strong><h6><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">The widespread amphibian monitoring programme seeks to collect robust, repeated survey data on our native amphibian species.<b> </b><u><br></u></p></h6><h6><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">Text here <br></p></h6><div> </div><strong> </strong><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; color: rgb(68, 68, 68); font-family: lato, Arial, serif;"><strong>Jump to...</strong></p> <button class="btn btn-info"><a href="#JoinIn"><strong><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">Join in</p></strong></a><p></p></button> <button class="btn btn-info"><a href="#Learn"><strong><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">Learn something new!</p></strong></a></button> <button class="btn btn-info"><a href="#Survey"><strong><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">Survey your site!</p></strong></a></button><p></p> <button class="btn btn-info"><a href="#Progress"><strong><p style="transition: border-color 500ms ease-out 50ms; font-size: 18px; font-family: lato, Arial, serif;">Project progress</p></strong></a></button><p></p> Note that I don't see the behaviour in all text boxes.

Hi Graham Hudgins I am still experiencing this behaviour when editing text boxes in ArcGIS Hub. The cursor jumps to the start of the box. Is there anything I can do to stop this? Thanks, Rob

In ArcGIS Online, users can add comments to items, but not to groups. It would be useful for members of any given group to be able to add comments (e.g. requesting additional content or amendments) as you can with items.

Hi James, Thanks for the response. I've since had some feedback from ESRI UK on the BNG locator and as you have said, have stated that it currently doesn't support reverse geocoding. I have given them a description of the use case in the event they are able to implement an enhancement. It would be a really valuable capability in the future to be able to pull bng locator values in to a Survey123 field whenever a user records something in a geopoint field for many of our surveys, as it would save us having to do post-hoc conversion. Many of our surveyors are so used to using British National Grid references that displaying anything else to them will come across as a bit alien. For the What3Words issue, the error was also raised with What3Words and before their support team got a chance to look at it, it resolved itself so I am still none the wiser about the cause of the issue but it is working now. Yes the locator was working in the AGOL Map Viewer. I also double-checked the API key etc. but this was all correct. Thanks for your help.

When creating a web app in Web AppBuilder, I have set up the Near Me widget and enabled settings for a Buffer Distance Slider to be associated to the location search, but during the location search, no buffer options come up (see screenshot below). What am I missing? I have followed the documentation. Thanks, Rob

Our Survey123 form utilises multiple locators for our surveyors. The survey is intended for use in Britain, and so makes use of the BNG locator as well as What3Words (in addition to the ArcGIS world geocoding service). I am experiencing different errors with the two locators. Both show up in the list of locators in Survey123 maps and work correctly in ArcGIS Online Maps. Both locators are also in our list of geolocators (Settings > Utilitiy services > Geocoding). Firstly, when trying to reverse geocode using the BNG locator in a Survey123 form map, I get the following error: Requested operation is not supported by this service. Is there any way around this? I have searched for this error but come up blank. Secondly, after following the What3Words tutorial for using their locator in Survey123, I had it working briefly in Survey123 forms but now get the following error when trying to search or reverse geocode with the What3Words locator in Survey123: You do not have permissions to access this resource of perform this operation. Again, searches have come up blank for the cause of this error message. In both instances I am signed in as the administrator (and also creator of the survey forms), and have shared the locators with relevant groups in ArcGIS Online that I am a member of. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Is there any way to control layer views based on username without creating individual hosted view layers for each user? We have a species distribution dataset which is continually updated from a Survey123 form populated by multiple organisational and community users. We would like to be able to set up views based on an individual's username, in a way that the view automatically changes depending on who is logged in, without creating individual hosted view layers for each user (this would be in the hundreds). Is this possible? E.g., to display a webmap with all the data on it but certain users can only see their own records and not other users? Would this be possible through something like URL parameters, where the webmap automatically detects the username of the person logged in and passes URL parameters to display only records from that person? Many thanks, Rob

Craig Gillgrass was this resolved? I am experiencing the same issue whereby the address search returns no results. I get the following when typing anything in the address search bar and pressing Enter: No places found for *address* Try again using an address or place name. Find Locations -> By Address is switched on in the Application Settings (Dispatcher webmap, Settings tab). Many thanks, Rob

Hi Philip Wilson, Thank you that is very useful to know. I can see in the documentation there are some limitations in relation to cascading selects which may limit our use of this new feature for now, but I look forward to seeing how it develops. We are already using additional csv files for pulldata functions so this would be a logical step for managing some of our choice lists also. Thanks, Rob

I'm having this issue too, with an external select_one containing both text and integers. My short term fix has been to add ' in front of the numbers (e.g. '3004 instead of 3004), but I expect this may cause me some grief further down the line.

Hi Joel Whitney, when is this due to be implemented? I am looking for a way to show British National Grid coordinates in the Collector and Explorer apps but when I select Coordinates in the Units menu, British National Grid is not yet an option. Thanks, Rob
