I am using the Append tool in ArcGIS Pro 3.0.1, and am experiencing an intermittent issue when using the field map to reconcile field differences. The issue is that when selecting a field from the left hand Output Fields menu, and then selecting Add New Source from the right hand Source menu, the drop down Add New Source Fields list is sometimes blank. See the image below for an example of the blank Fields list. Other times, it is correctly populated with the Fields from the Input Dataset. The Update View process has become quite slow for some of our view layers where the layer contains hundreds of thousands of features. I suspect that the map pane which is trying to draw all of these features may be contributing to this, so I suggest the capability to pause or close the Update View map pane to speed up processing.  I appreciate that the new Update View process allows you to see how your filters and Area of interest affect the resulting data, but it isn't always needed and could be slowing things down. ... We have noticed that when trying to create a view layer from a hosted feature service containing many features (~700,000), the page becomes very slow and often completely unresponsive. Has anyone else experienced the same or come up with a solution? ... View more
