Hi @BarnabasPeter - yes there is absolutely an opportunity for you to share your data analysis skills and applications in the geospatial field. You can go the route of a "YPN Content Ambassador" and you can write and publish a blog article about this topic. This requires access to the YPN blog space. Please send me an email at rboone@esri.com and we can take it from there.

Hi @SehmiloSheriff - if you fulfill both roles, than you get TWO badges and certificates. My advice is just to start with the YPN Ambassador and complete those steps to earn your badge and certificate. Then go to the YPN Content Ambassador one.

The Esri Young Professionals Network (YPN) Ambassador Program is designed to give you a platform to be an active participant in the GIS community. By becoming a YPN Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to establish connections with fellow professionals, expand your professional network, receive acknowledgment, enhance your communication and leadership abilities, and distinguish yourself among peers, employers, or recruiters. If you are a higher education student, emerging professional, or seasoned GIS professional with a passion for leadership, networking, and connecting with the geospatial community, the Esri YPN Ambassador Program is your gateway to success. What is the YPN Ambassador Program? The YPN Ambassador program is designed to elevate emerging GIS professionals and provide a space to demonstrate commitment to networking, community building, and professional development. The program offers three distinct pathways to become a YPN Ambassador: YPN Ambassador: Become an active participant of Esri YPN by interacting with contributed blog posts, introducing yourself, engaging on YPN's social media platforms, and promoting your YPN membership. YPN Content Ambassador: Demonstrate your expertise and enthusiasm in GIS by crafting and sharing a blog post, promoting it across social media channels. YPN Events Ambassador: Lead the way by actively participating in a YPN event, taking on a role as a guest speaker, and amplifying your involvement through social media promotion. When you’ve completed the subset of activities for any of the YPN Ambassador pathways, apply to get your official badge and certificate. Why Become a YPN Ambassador? 1) Rise Above the Competition In the competitive GIS field, displaying the YPN Ambassador badge on your professional profile distinguishes you. It communicates to recruiters and colleagues that you are more than just a GIS professional – you are a dynamic leader dedicated to making a meaningful impact. 2) Network with Peers As you progress toward YPN Ambassadorship, you'll establish valuable connections with industry leaders, fellow GIS professionals, peers, and experienced mentors. You’ll engage in discussions, contribute to blog posts, introducing yourself, and be an active participant in the GIS community. This enhances your reputation and earns you recognition within your professional circle. It’s a win-win! 3) Enhance Leadership Skills The YPN Ambassador Program is a unique chance to develop and showcase your leadership skills. Speaking at a webinar, introducing yourself to a mentor, publishing a blog post, and attending an in-person event are all examples of YPN Ambassador activities that will sharpen your leadership skills and flex that leadership muscle in you! Whether you choose the general YPN Ambassador, Content Ambassador, or Events Ambassador path, you'll find opportunities to lead, inspire, and contribute to the growth of the geospatial industry. 4) Boost Your Visibility and Reputation As a YPN Ambassador, you have the chance to showcase your expertise to a broader audience. You’ll publish a blog post, comment on other’s content, showcase your involvement on social media, and attend events. Engaging in these tasks as a YPN Ambassador contributes to boosting your presence and fostering a favorable reputation within the GIS community. 5) Access Resources As a YPN Ambassador, you'll take the lead in accessing networking events, resources for career growth, and opportunities for professional development to enrich your knowledge and skills. The most valuable resource of all lies in the connections you forge with peers throughout your ambassadorial journey. How to Become a YPN Ambassador Ready to be the next YPN Ambassador? Read through the YPN Ambassador Program to understand each ambassador role's requirements and activities. Choose the path that aligns with your interests and strengths. Complete ALL the required steps to become a YPN Ambassador. Submit your application and be on your way to earning the official YPN Ambassador badge and certificate. Email ypn@esri.com if you are considering to be a YPN Content Contributor and need access to publish to the YPN Esri Community space.
