Hi! For background, I'll explain the groups first. Marking a group as Open Data is a setting that Hub used to require in order to share open data. This is no longer the case. Instead you can make a group and it's content public and your content will be searchable. The Content group is where you can share content that is specific to a site. Any content that you add directly in the content library will be added to your content group. Also, any groups that you share to your site (via the groups manager), will appear in the search results in the content library. However, in order for items to to be searchable via live search (found at /search), you'll need to 1. make sure you have the viewing permissions to see the item, and 2. make sure that the item's sharing controls add the item to the content library. To elaborate, public content will appear on live search. Org visible content can only be seen by org members, and private the owner + members in groups that the content is shared to, respectively. Next, if an item is shared to the content group, it should appear in search. To double check, from the content library, click on an item to access the content's metadata editor (datasets/<id>/edit). On the left you'll see sharing controls. Click "Add to initiative content library" and the content should be searchable. See the images below. Note that you shouldn't mark items as public in a private group. This will prevent them from showing up in search. Good luck and let me know if you still have issues.

@farheenkhanumHub does not yet support editing meta tags, which would be needed to give you the desired effect. However, if you simply want to prevent the general public from seeing your site or content, we recommend making your site private (and any content that you share to the site).

Hi @RexRobichaux, We don't have any starter scripts, but the check for content updates and the recreate download options trigger the calls you'd need to make. As Graham mentioned, we're going to work on our API documentation once we're sure that the API is ready for higher traffic from programmatic access. In your case, your datasets are public, not private, which means it uses a download system native to Hub. We have a ticket in our backlog to allow customers to schedule update checks (and download file generation). My plan is to start this work sometime in the first half of 2021. Regarding browser caching, I'll take a look at the support issue and get back to you if there are any easy changes you can make.

Hi, If the content is public then there is an option to download a filtered subset of the data. The options for each format are appended to the download drop down. The way it works is that any table filters + geometry filters (i.e., the extent of the map view) are applied. So you can set the map to the area you'd like and then download a filtered option. We do not yet support drawing an area to download, but we're hoping to add it as a feature in 2021!

Hi, Are you still experiencing this issue? I now see santafedata.org as one of the top Google search results when executing that query. I believe that it's common to experience at least a several day delay before search engines pick up the changes.

Hi @Anonymous User We found a problem specific to Map Servers with layers that contain columns of type esriFieldTypeSingle, which these two fields are. We're looking into it now, but it may be easiest to convert these columns to a different numeric type like esriFieldTypeDouble. Would this be possible or do you need to keep the columns as a Real data type?

Hello @Anonymous User, Sorry to hear you're having this issue. I've opened up a bug and we'll take a look at it soon. In the meantime, there is a chance that the issue may resolve itself by creating a new layer on ArcGIS Online with the same data. If you try this before making the item public try making it private, add it to your site, and then try downloading. Please let me know if you still have the same issue.

Thanks, this is useful information. Since the swap was completed in March 2019 we don't have records to check the update status for items. However, if you experience the same issue again, especially if you used a collaboration, please let me know and we'll take a look. The duplicates have been deleted.

Hi @TaupoDistrict_Council we can delete these orphaned datasets now. We are investigating why you would see this. When did you first notice duplicates? did you republish the layers?

Hi, Hub currently doesn't provide settings for preventing the organization-level hub from being indexed or specific SEO configurations. Are you looking to hide organizations from search engines while still allowing for discovery of specific sites? If so, this is a good idea and I will add it to our backlog. However if you have specifics requests you should submit an enhancement request through support.
