Hello GIS friends, Happy Friday! I'm having a problem with the Analysis Widget when I add a custom extract web tool. It does not let me choose all the layers I have set to be extracted. Also, when I draw an area of interest on the map there is no way to trash/delete the area of interest and redraw a new area of interest for data to be extracted unless you refresh the whole map. These are major set backs. Web AppBuilder: Lets you trash (red) an area of interest and redraw a new one. It also lets you pick a layer you want extracted. Am I doing something wrong? @CodyPatterson - Thank you for your excellent guidance. With the support of Esri, I was able to leave the collaboration from the portal, delete the collaboration from the organization, and then re-establish the collaboration by creating a new one. Afterward, I connected the workspaces to the existing groups. Now it all seems to be working. Thank you again, Abi

@CodyPatterson - Thank you for your response. Did you mean I should recreate a new collaboration altogether? Will I lose all my workspaces if I do so? I see there is an option for me to leave the existing collaboration from ArcGIS Portal, but will I still need the old invitation from ArcGIS Online to rejoin the collaboration? I can’t seem to find my previous collaboration invite from ArcGIS Online. Is there any way to regenerate the invitation from ArcGIS Online? Thank you for your help! Abi

Hello GIS Friends, I hope you're all doing well! I’m experiencing an issue where my collaboration workspace and feature items are not syncing. I have enabled sync using both the System sync tool from ArcGIS Server Manager and also activated sync for the individual items. Both my ArcGIS Enterprise Server and ArcGIS Enterprise Portal are running version 11.4. However, I’ve noticed an inconsistency in ArcGIS Online. Under Settings > Collaboration, it shows ArcGIS Enterprise Version 11.3.0, even though it should be showing ArcGIS Enterprise Version 11.4. Please see the screenshot below for reference. Hello GIS friends, Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. I am currently working on setting up a Distributed Collaboration Workspace from ArcGIS Online to the Portal, and I’ve encountered a couple of issues. After creating the Workspace in ArcGIS Online, I expected it to appear in the Portal so I could join it. However, the workspace I created in ArcGIS Online is not showing up in the Portal. Additionally, I deleted a workspace in ArcGIS Online, but it has not been removed from the Portal. Could you help clarify what might be going wrong? Furthermore, yesterday, I went to the Organization extensions in my Portal and attempted to enable location sharing. I was unable to do so because I do not have Location Sharing licenses, which I understand. However, since then, I have consistently received the message, "Unable to enable Location Sharing." Could this be affecting the Distributed Collaboration, or are these two separate issues? For your reference, I have been collaborating between ArcGIS Online and the Portal for a few years and have a few functional workspaces. I am currently working in ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4. @TimoT - Upon reviewing the server logs, I do not see any errors indicating that instances are failing to start or crashing. At present, I have 40 ArcSOCs running. Here is a brief description of the situation: restarting the server now takes approximately 20 minutes, whereas it previously took about 10 minutes. This delay seems to have occurred after upgrading to Enterprise 11.4. Let me walk you through the process as it unfolds: I initiate the restart, and the machine begins the process. For the first three minutes, everything appears normal. In the Task Manager, I can see six instances of java.exe running, along with javaw.exe for the server. After this initial phase, however, the server stalls. Even the system time on the bottom right remains frozen. Around 10 minutes later, I see the javaw.exe for the datastore start running. Three minutes after that, the javaw.exe for the portal begins to run. Once this process completes, I attempt to open a map application. After some delay (approximately 5 minutes), the map services begin to load. However, I then receive an error message stating that some of the feature services could not be loaded. At this point, I restart the ArcGIS Server from the Services panel, and everything begins working as expected. In total, this process takes around 20 minutes.
