Hi.  This may be more of a SharePoint question, but I thought I'd try this forum.  We have installed the current version of Esri Maps for SharePoint on 2010.  Whenever we edit a silverlight web part none of the ribbon dropdowns will appear.  Does anyone know if there is a configuration setting we missed somewhere?  (By the way, I know the recommendation is to use the javascript web part, but we just want to see what the product capabilities are and we don't have 4.0 yet.) Hi.  I cannot figure out why some of my filters will not save in my web maps.  I am creating filters on layers in my internally hosted map services.  I add the service.  I create the filter with prompts.  It works fine.  I save the web map.  I open the web map. The filter isn't there. But, it sometimes work for some map services. Can anyone share what I am doing wrong? Thanks, Mary Ellen ... View more

Hi.  We are experimenting with filters to provide a query-like capability for our users.  Our data can be quite large (e.g. statewide routes) and I'm curious if the performance I'm seeing in the "Show Table" feature is expected.  In our testing, we are using a feature class of lines deployed through an internally hosted map service that consists of about 77000 features.  Our filters generally return between 30 and 80 features.  When we show the table for the filtered features, we are unable to select a feature through the table to zoom to it.  I mean, it looks selected, but the table always shows "x features, 0 selected."  I know the function works because smaller feature classes seem to perform pretty well.  But, it's like the show table function is trying to manage all 77000 features instead of the 30-80 we've selected.  Can anyone shed any light on this?  And any tips/tricks are welcome. Hi.  If someone can point me to user documentation for Open Data, please do.  In the meantime, I have a quick question about using the "within map" option in a search.  When using it, I would expect that the returned layers list would include any layers with features that fall within my map area.  Instead, it appears to only include layers whose entire extent falls within my map area.  If what I'm seeing is correct, is there a way (a setting or something) to have it return layers with features in my map area?  Thanks, Mary Ellen ...
