Hi. We are migrating feature layers from AGOL to our Portal servers and the process sometimes requires that we publish data new (the clone_items fails). However, the feature layers hosted in AGOL contain visualization customization. And some feature layers have views that also have visualization customization.
We've been using the ago-assist tool to migrate configuration (e.g. copy-paste json into new portal items). However, we've noticed that not all of the visualization configuration for views and feature layers is available through that tool.
So, I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to copy the full visualization configuration from one item to another. A manual process is fine. And I'm sure it can be scripted and would appreciate a ready-made script to get us started.
