Hi. In ArcGIS Online using the web map Attribute Expressions builder, I'm trying to pull feature xy coordinates to show in a popup. In the builder, my code successfully tests with a value; but the value in the popup and layer table is empty. I'm using a map service if that matters. So, is this code supposed to work? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

Thanks, Stephanie. I appreciate the quick response to this issue. Unfortunately, the workaround won't work for all of our services because of the limitations when using a feature layer/service; especially one with a lot of features. So, I look forward to the fix. Thanks again.

Hi Stephanie, No. The services have single layers in them. Here are two examples if you want to give them a try: NCDOT_Structures (MapServer) NCDOT_RoadCharacteristicsQtr (MapServer) Thanks for the help.

Hi. I am unable to add an attribute expression to my map service popup in ArcGIS Online's map viewer. When I click "ADD" to create one, the form is blank and I see the following error. Does anyone know what is perhaps missing in our configuration that would cause this. Some map services work fine. Some don't. Thanks for the help.

Hi. The Go To function in the SharePoint web part select tool doesn't seem to be working correctly for us. When we click on the Go To icon, the map zooms out (as depicted below) instead of zooming in to the feature. Does anyone know what we've done wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you. I have searched around the help documentation, as well as geonet posts and blogs. I have read the help topics you provided and the part where I'm stuck is, for example, the answer to yes for the first question in the flowchart there. I assume I should see ArcGIS Pro licenses in AGOL, but do not see any. Perhaps the following image will help explain. I'm sure the answer is staring right at me somewhere. Thanks.

Hi. I think I'm missing something in the licensing of ArcGIS Pro. I am an administrator for our AGOL organization and would like to assign ArcGIS Pro licenses to a few users. However, when I go to "Manage Licenses" there are no ArcGIS Pro licenses. We've not done this before so I'm guessing I've missed a step. I'd appreciate it if someone could point me to the instructions for setting up ArcGIS Pro in AGOL (and ideally concurrent licensing for our long-term solution). I can only find instructions for assigning the licenses; not for making them available to begin with. Thanks.

Hi Scott. Thank you so much for the ideas and suggestions. You are correct, the publishing process seems to be changing the script. But, interesting that you say you've seen odd things when using models vs straight scripts - this is actually a model. And not a problem we've had before our upgrade. The uploaded/published .sde file works fine. And the database is registered with server. In fact, we've got many services already using it.. For testing I've created an extremely simple model that references sde data. For more information, I've attached the original model-as-script: SelectAlamanceToolFromServer.py. And the model-as-script after publishing: SelectAlamanceCountyToolFromLocal.py Note the drop of the sql server database and schema names in the published version. Anyway, you've given me some ideas and information I can pass to our server administrators. And I may try publishing this as a script instead of a model and see if it makes a difference. Thanks again.

Hi. We recently upgraded our environment to version 10.5 and I am now unable to successfully execute a simple geoprocessing service. The gp service broke after the 10.5 upgrade (for a known reason). I fixed it and successfully published it. However, it fails with error 000732 when run. With this error message: The error message is actually correct. ...SQLSAZD02_GdbGisuPub.sde\BoundaryCountyPolgyon does not exist. The feature class reference is missing "GdbGisuPub.GISU" in front of BoundaryCountyPolygon. My script references "GdbGisuPub.GISU.BoundaryCountyPolygon" (or it wouldn't work). Somehow during publishing it gets changed. Does this look familiar to anyone? Anyone know what I am doing wrong now? Thanks.

Hi. I'm hoping someone can help. I have created a hosted feature layer of 100 polygons. This data contains an attribute that groups the polygons. I want to create an editing environment where the color changes when the attribute value changes. To do that, I thought I could add the hosted feature layer to a web map and create a "unique symbols" drawing style based on that attribute. It works, HOWEVER, doing so creates a dropdown choice for that attribute when editing. Which is fine, except the full list of choices is not made available. It seems like it gets stuck on a default and I can't figure out how to change it. Any help or other ideas is appreciated. Here's a bit more information: Here are the possible values all contained in the original data set. These are my choices when editing. Only 10 of the 14 options are available. Here's the default style when I first select that style option.

Hi. Thanks for everyone's help so far. I may be making this more complicated than it is, but I'm looking for why and how to use the AGOL setting in the red box below. It doesn't appear to be necessary to track the who and when of edits. If I’ve simply missed it in the links already provided, please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Thank you for the link. However, that's the link I've already reviewed and doesn't seem to provide the in-depth information I'm trying to find. Thanks again.

Hi. I am unable to find much information on the "Keep track of created and updated features" setting for a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online. I'm looking for anything on what exactly is tracked and how it is used or can be used. I'd appreciate any information or a link to information in addition to the sentence or two in the ArcGIS Online help. Thank you.

Thank you! I noticed that capability but didn't give it another thought. I guess I need to do a better job of keeping up with the ArcGIS Online updates. I have a follow-up question. Another component of our solution is an external application that accesses the hosted feature layer through the rest api. Is that capability available through the view? Thanks.

Hi. We have a group of users who have very little technical knowledge but have been tasked with maintaining a point feature class. My team has been tasked with developing a solution in ArcGIS Online that allows them to edit a feature layer, but allows "everyone" to view the live data. While keeping the solution as simple as possible for the editors. The feature in ArcGIS Online where you can configure a group that allows group members to edit a feature layer and allows view-only sharing outside the group of the same feature layer seems like the perfect solution. However, from what we can tell, you cannot permanently add the feature layer/data to a web map and keep it editable. Nor can you add the feature layer on-the-fly to a web map you've already opened. As a result, the solution seems to require that editors open the feature layer for editing and then add all of the services they need to the map each time they edit. If true, this would be very cumbersome. So, my question is: Is this the only way it works? Is there a way to allow editors to use saved maps? The alternative where there is an editable feature layer for editing and a copy for public viewing is even more complicated. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks.
