Just wanted to mention that the Automated Check Reports started reporting checks that passed at version 10.0 SP2. So if you are on an older version, you would not see those reported.

Another option is to use the Execute SQL Check to validate fields with domains. You would have to enter in the complete list of valid domain values in your query, but you only have to do it once.

Hello, On the top of my head, there could be two possible issues. Are you in an edit session when you are running the batch job? Not that this is an issue. But if your Reviewer workspace is in a different geodatabase than what you are editing, then this could be the issue. If the Reviewer workspace is in an enterprise geodatabse (as Kumar questioned), are the permissions set up properly for each Reviewer table? Refer to the link that Kumar provided.

Jonah, Your best bet is to use the Valency check using the generic junctions feature class, which is created when you build your geometric network. A generic junction is created when there is a split in the line and no other junction (valve, fitting, hydrant, meter, etc) exists there. The Valency Check is in the Advanced Check category. Feature Class 1 = WaterDistribution_Net_Junctions Feature Class 2 = wMain Valency Operation = = (equal to) Equal to = 2 Good Luck!

Hello Jonah. Funny you ask this question, I started to write up a blog on how to find this issue. I won't make you wait for it to get published since it's something I'm doing on my down time. 🙂 I suggest creating a composite check that usese two geometry on geometry checks. First, you want to find where a service line is touching a main line. Then you want to find where a service line is not touching a fitting tap. Open the Composite check from the Advance checks category. Select Service Line for Feature Class 1. Right-click and add a Geometry on Geometry check. For feature class 2, select your main line feature class. For Spatial Relation Check, select Touches and click OK to close the check dialog. Add another Geometry on Geometry check. For Feature Class 2, select your fitting feature class. If you have a tap subtype, then select that. Otherwise enter a where class to select your fitting. For Spatial Relation Chcek, select Touches. Check on the NOT option and click OK to close the check dialog. enter an Error Description (Service Lines with no taps) in the composite check dialog. Good luck!

Hello Karl, Data Reviewer does not have the ability to reject edits. Core does have a tool that you can use to choose which edit to keep, Version Changes command. Regards, michellej.

Hi Luigi, I checked the batch job that had the UniqueID check. It is not checking for the ObjectID. I'm going to submit a request to update the message to remove ObjectID. So you have some features with duplicate GFIDs. You may want to check if they are duplicate features within the same feature class. If so, you can delete one feature. If not, then you would have to udpdate one of the feature's GFID. Does Defense Mapping or Production Mapping have a tool to do that? Regards, michellej.

I'm not that familiar with the Defense mapping solution, can you tell me which batch job you are using? I'm thinking the unique ID check may need to be updated to not check for ObjectID.

Hello Luigi, Is the message being returned from the UniqueID check or some other check? You do not have to check the ObjectID for UniqueIDs since this is a system managed field. ObjectIDs are only unique within a feature class or table, not the entire database. Are you using one of the batch jobs that was provided with the Defense Mapping Solution or is this a batch job that you created? michellej.
