Yes, this is a limitation to the Execute SQL check. It does not support joins in ArcMap. But it sounds like a really good enhancement request!

Hi Brett, I just saw this. Did you ever get anything resolved? So you had some relationship checks in your batch job? It will go through all the records in the Destination table against the selected features in your Origin Table. The only check that does not honor the Features to Validate option is the Unique ID check. For this check, it will have to go through all records to ensure uniqueness. Something else to check for...If any of your checks have "Always Run on Full Database" enabled in the check properties, then this will supersede whatever option you chose in the Features to Validate.

You are describing a very common scenario for the Table to Table Attribute check. When you configured the Compare Attributes section, did you use "integer key" = "integer key" and use the Not option?

Hi Anthony. I see you mentioned Duplicate Geometry as one of the checks you are using. And it looks like you are validating Address points. If you have ~375,000 features, that will take a long time to run the duplicate geometry check. Try using the Geometry on Geometry check to look for duplicate points. I converted all of my Duplicate Geometry checks where I was validating point features to Geometry on Geometry checks and it is so much faster. All you need to do is set feature class 1 and feature class 2 and use the Intersects spatial relation. Were you comparing fields too in the Duplicate Geometry check? You can do that too in the Geometry on Geometry check. Also something to consider when configuring Data Reviewer checks with two different feature classes, use the smaller feature class for feature class 1 and the larger feature class for feature class 2 if you can. This may not pertain to your domain, but an example would be to find overlapping service lines on mains. Use mains as feature class 1 and service lines for feature class 2. There are many more features in the service line feature class than there are in the main line feature class. And finally regarding the Table to Table Attribute check, check to see if the fields you are using to link/compare the records are indexed. Indexing the fields can help with the performance. Hope this helps. michellej.

At this time there is not a way to do what you are asking. However, you can duplicate checks in Batch Job Manager, which can help in the creation/configuration of those 250 checks. Identify the geometry on geometry checks with the same parameters. For example, recently I had to create a check to look for overlapping line features for 40 linear event classes. I created one geo on geo check for the first event class and then duplicated the check using the Populate All Feature Class Parameters and selected the remaining 39 linear event classes. It will duplicate the geo on geo check with the same parameters for each of those feature classes I had selected. Good Luck.

I have submitted a bug to Data Reviewer requesting a refresh functionality. TFS bug # 65728. You won't be able to see this bug externally, but if you were to call into tech support, they should be able to use this number to look up the status if needed.

I was able to reproduce this issue also in 10.2.2. Does sound like an reasonable enhancement to request for Data Reviewer. Either add a refresh button or when the user changes/selects a field it always gets the latest values. Unfortunately, I do not have a workaround to suggest.

Hello Steven, Are you just selecting the records in the Reviewer table using the Select All command under the Options button? Or are you trying to select the features in ArcMap using the right-click context menu item, Select Feature Geometry? Also, what version of Data Reviewer are you on? Is your Reviewer workspace a file geodatabase stored locally or an enterprise geodatabase? I will relay your comment to the Data Reviewer team. Data Reviewer Jay Cary

Unfortunately, the Reviewer batch jobs are not backwards compatible. But here's a link that has a descriptions of the checks that come with the 10.1 DR Addressing template, ArcGIS for Local Government 10.1. If you able to get a hold of a 10.1 machine, then you could recreate the batch job in 10 by referencing the check parameters in the 10.1 batch job. Good luck!
