Yes, you can validate a 10.1 geodatabase and have a 10.3 Reviewer workspace. Obviously, these have to be separate geodatabases. And you have to be using ArcGIS 10.3 Desktop on the client machine.

The SQL statement can go in the Execute SQL check and would not require a custom check. I had a project where i had to support data validation for a file and SQL server database. What i ended up doing was having one batch job for the checks that work in both. And two separate batch jobs, one for file and one for SQL server. That way when i had to update or add checks that would work in both, i only had to do it once. Happy Connecting. Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S® 5

What type of database is your geodatabase? File, SQL Server, or Oracle...? I think you can do this check in Execute SQL. Depending on the geodatabase type, the syntax may be different. Here's an example of the statement for a file geodatabase. Not Exists (Select * from <table> where <field name> = 'RN') If you don't have at least one RN, it will return all records in the table/feature class. Cheers, michellej.

Not at this time. For a future ArcGIS release, I did mock up a design of a GP tool to generate reports. We'll see if and when it gets implemented. I see it being used in a GP model like: Create Reviewer Session Execute Reviewer Batch Job Generate Reviewer Report

Just wanted to let others know who may be following this thread. It looks like this was an isolated issue with this particular machine. Maher was able to get his batch job working on another machine.

Yes, you can add "user-defined fields" to the Reviewer table. Based on the fields you listed, you will add three "user-defined fields" MODIFIED_UID INPUT_UID INPUT_BY Data Reviewer will automatically populate these fields when the records are written to the table IF the field names match. I've never encountered the issue you are describing in 10.2.2 thru 10.3.1. You are opening up the batch job on the same machine you created it on, right?

I hope it works. If not, try uninstalling and reinstalling. I have 10.2.2 and 10.3.1 and have not had any issues creating and using my batch jobs. If you don't get it working after the reinstall, follow up with tech support again. Good Luck!

That PatchFinder did not list the patch. It should have if it was installed. The patch I pointed you to was released Feb 6, 2014. It's Data Reviewer 10.2.2 patch 2. Here's a screenshot of patch finder on my desktop computer.

Thanks. I know people have upgraded ArcGIS Desktop not knowing that it does not upgrade DR. Have you tried applying the DR 10.2.2 patch? ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.2.2 Patch 2 for (Desktop, Server) | Samples and Utilities Or the other thing I would try is to uninstall Data Reviewer and Reinstall.

Use the link in my previous reply. It is to the PatchFinder utility. The image just shows me you have ArcGIS Desktop 10.2.2, but does not tell me Data Reviewer version. If you do not want to use the PatchFinder, then you can go to Customize>Extensions and click on Data Reviewer.
