Paul, you could use Data Reviewer's Valency check to find the valves where the install date does not match the connected mains' install date. But you are right, Data Reviewer finds the issues and does not fix them.

I was just having a conversation about this last week with a co-worker. Data Reviewer can find overlapping address ranges, but cannot find gaps in address ranges. It would be nice if we could add a calculation to the attribute comparison. Something that I considered is adding temporary fields to the feature class where you can calculate the address number +/- the gap threshold and then do the attribute comparison using the temporary fields.

The checks that were defined for the water utilities were based on input from the Solution Engineers here at Esri. You are not the first person to point out the diameter threshold for Butterfly valves. I'm not a water expert so, what is a typical minimal diameter of a Butterfly valve? I'm planning to review several of the Data Reviewer templates for the different industries to make updates and enhancements. I'll take a note of this. BTW, you can modify the check properties to change that to a different size in Batch Job Manager. Thanks for your comment. michellej.

Hello Gennady. The Table to Table Attribute check is known to take a while to run. And it will take longer to run on an enterprise geodatabase versus a file geodatabase. You are already following good practice by regularly compressing, analyzing, and rebuilding statistics on the enterprise gdb. Another thing that can be looked at is how the enterprise geodatabase was set up with regards to where the tablespaces were created. Are all the data tables in one tablespace on one disk. For large databases, you may want to consider having multiple tablespaces across multiple disks to help with the read/write performance. In addition, you can make sure the fields you are using in the check is indexed. In regards to Changed Features Only, there is a threshold where it's not efficient to use this feature in Data Reviewer. I believe it depends on the extent that you are using this option. If it's a large area and there are not many edits, it will take longer to identify which features were edited than just to run the check on current extent. So something to keep in mind. Good Luck, michellej.

I'm glad you were able to figure it out and that you had posted this question on GeoNet. This check has always been challenging to figure out the correct expression to use and this will be helpful for other DR users.

Have you considered using the Execute SQL check to look for any values that end in ";"? SUBSTRING(REF_ID FROM Char_Length(REF_ID) FOR 1 ) = ';' Continue to use the Regular Expression check to make sure the values are starting with 1.

That is correct Jamal. Selecting the Reviewer geometry (polygon) will not select the related row in the Reviewer Table. The Reviewer geometries are joined to the Reviewer table records. You could do an identify on the polygon and view the fields with their values to determine the issue for that feature.

There are nice performance enhancements to several checks at 10.3.1. Generally, you will not need to update your Reviewer Batch Jobs. But there was a really nice enhancement to the Find Dangles check, where you may or may not want to reconfigure that check if you are using it.

Don't use the Reviewer Service (It's being deprecated anyway). Create a GP model and export it out to a python executable and use Windows task scheduler to run the check after hours. When you come in, the results will be ready for you. With the GP model, you can create a new session for each batch job you execute.
