I was given a .kml file and asked if I could provide the coordinates for each point in it. How can I do this in ArcGIS Pro? When I try the KML to Layer tool it tells me empty dataset

Why when I try to move a vertex doesn't save? For example in the attached graphic, I am trying to move this polygon to a parcel line, but when I drag the vertex over to where I want it and click finish, the vertex just snaps back to its original location. Why is it doing this?

Thank you for your reply. I was able to use the Join and Relates tool to join my point feature table to the attachments table, then I was able to copy the field to my attachment table. This allowed me to modify that script to extract the field I needed along with the attachments. Mission accomplished!

Attached is a screenshot of the Excel table as it appears in ArcGIS Pro. Note: When I open the Excel spreadsheet in Excel, the Lat/Long coordinates appear as Degrees Minutes Seconds. When I bring the spreadsheet into ArcGIS Pro, they appear as in the attached table. ETA: I have also attached the table as it looks when you open it in Excel I think I just realized what the problem is but would like to hear your answers Thanks

I have a new survey datasheet with an Latitude and Longitude field in it. The documentation says, 'Corresponding latitudes and longitudes are provided relative to the GRS80 ellipsoid'. I am trying to use XY table to point geoprossessing tool and would like to convert this datasheet into a point feature class to display in my map but the normal way I do this is not working. It is giving me a 'Warning 100160: Some of the features have invalid geometry and have been removed from the result'. This leads me to believe I am using the wrong coordinate system which I have set to GCS WGS 84. Should I set it to GRS80 instead?

Hi all, I have a table of images from a shared hosted feature service which I was able to extract to a folder locally through a script available online. However, this script just extracted the images with the image title ie. image0-20210902-154626 and so forth I also have a related point feature class for this table where each point has an image attached to it. What I would like to do is extract the images but use a field in the feature class as a name for each image instead of image0-20210902-154626 or field name + image0-20210902-154626 Is there a way to do this?

I'll try using the .csv file instead next time. I had had problems bringing csv files into ArcMap way back when, that's why I was converting to Excel.

How do you clear the cache in ArcGIS Pro? I am exporting Excel spreadsheets to a folder on a network drive and then bringing the spreadsheet into an ArcGIS Pro map through ArcCatalog. However, whenever I export a new spreadsheet out to the network drive and then bring it into my ArcGIS Pro document it still says it has the same amount of attributes as the last spreadsheet. The only way I can get it to update is if I close the map document and reopen it.

Hi I am trying to insert Dynamic Text using Count statistic. However, when I put the statistic in my map, I get '0' as the value. The value is returning '0' when it should return the number of attributes in the table. How do I fix this?

I am exporting attributes out from a web application to Excel spreadsheets and then displaying those points in my map. I would like to build a model which will help me automate this process and was wondering if there is a geoprocessing tool which does the same thing as Display XY does in the popup menu? The process I am using is Export the records out from the Web Application map to an Excel spreadsheet and then bring the Excel spreadsheet into my map and right click it to bring up the Display XY option. Once I have the points displayed on my map I copy and paste the points into my Feature class which holds all the attributes for the point feature. Any help would be appreaciated

I have a Polygon feature which has 9 polygons in it and have broken down each polygon into 11x17 panels. What I would like to do is generate a grid line or for that matter just a line showing where the 11x17 panels are located in each polygon. Sort of like trying to create a key so a contractor can use to follow. How can I do this?

Thanks for the reply Victor. I'm not sure I can access the ArcGIS Manager from my position but that seems to be the reason why it is only allowing me to export 2000 records instead of all 125557 of them. The next question I have is is there a limit to how high this value can be set? For instance could I set it all the way to 12557
