The solution was in place. I did not republish or overwrite the service. I will try that first.

Hello. I am using Pro 2.2.4 and the 'My Elected Representatives' solution. In Pro I have changed the symbology for the polling districts, voting districts and the other layers in the feature service. When I pull the service into the web map, the symbology is not carried over and reverts to the default. Is there a way to maintain the symbology I set in Pro in AGOL? Also, when I rename the feature layers in the service in Pro, the naming does not carry over to AGOL. Please point me to any threads on either topic if already answered, thank you.

Hi all, my apologies for not replying sooner. I was pulled onto other GIS projects, but I am now back working on this one. Thank you for the suggestions, I now have a better understanding on how the XY event layer works and how to use it. Sincerely, Jay

Hi Kelly, Thanks for the quick response. Right, it is WebAppBuilder, sorry about that, I have been trying several options so I forgot which app I was using. I went into the Edit Application screen from the app's Item page in AGOL, and switched off the Coordinate widget, saved, refreshed, but still no arrow. I am curious as to why, but for now I am switching us back to using the Parking Locator application. I shied away from the app for a couple of reasons, but will revert back to it, as I have a better understanding of the configuration side now. Sincerely, Jay

Hi Kelly! The app is Esri's Public Parking solution. The map note is called 'Amstel Avenue - One Way' and is in the operational layer list of the application. Thank you, Jay Here is the public link: ArcGIS Web Application

I have a simple map note showing an arrow which shows traffic direction on a street in a web map, created in AGOL in the map viewer. In the associated web map application, the arrow is not visible. The note is in the operational layer listing, and I can zoom to it, but the arrow is not visible in the application. I have no restrictions on the visibility range. I am not sure why the arrow is not visible in the application. Traffic direction has changed from 2-way to 1-way, so it would be useful to have the arrow show. Thoughts?

I am trying to create a feature class within a feature dataset in my sde enterprise database from a file geodatabase feature class. I was hoping my field domains would also get copied to the enterprise geodatabase feature class. I tried 'feature class to feature class,' but my field domains did not come over. I tried 'feature class to geodatabase.' This created the feature class in the desired feature dataset, but loaded every other feature class within that feature dataset into my table of contents in arcgis Pro, 2.2.3. Why? And the domains did not transfer either. Is there another way to perform this operation? Copy?

Hi. I am working with a feature class of point locations with associated attributes in ArcGIS Pro. The feature class was created from a csv file exported from another database. Some of the features do not have latitude and longitude coordinates in the attribute table (e.g., PO Box ## entered as the street address and could not be geocoded). I have been locating these points manually and retrieving the coordinate pair from another map system. I then copy/paste to enter the coordinates in the attribute table, but the point is not drawn on the map. I was under the assumption that when the location information was added to the attribute table, the point would be drawn. I tried the Replace Geometry gp tool, but that didn't work. What am I missing and need to do to have the map recognize the coordinates and plot the point features? Many thanks in advance.

Hi guys, I replaced the <Null> values with "nothing," by highlighting the two coordinate pair cells in the Excel spreadsheet and hitting the delete button, repeat for all of the <Null> coordinate pairs. I think I got them all. The other columns having <Null> values are of type text. The returned and renamed CSV retained the blank cells in the x and y columns. I performed the same import steps and all worked. Strange!

Hi Jonathan and Tim, Thank you both for the quick reply on such funky behavior, seen in ArcMap and Pro! My file name: NewarkBusinessLicense_nospacefieldnames_copy-paste.csv. Co-workers rename: NewarkBusinessLicense_nospacefieldnames_copy-pasteBJL.csv. He was able to open my file on his system and then renamed the file and emailed it back to me, at which time I could use it as planned. Partial screen shot of the first few fields.

I am working with a csv file that has almost 7,400 records. I was having trouble creating an XY event layer after bringing the csv file into ArcMap. The x and y columns in the csv file were saved as numeric. I made sure the field names had no spaces, and I replaced bad coordinate pairs from an earlier geocoding step with blank cells in the worksheet. Every time I brought the file into ArcMap and attempted to plot the locations, the xy coordinate types were shown as text. I tried the same import in Pro, same result. I finally emailed the csv file to a co-worker (Outlook is the email client), and he was able to bring the csv into ArcMap and Pro, and create XY locations in each application. He renamed the csv file (he did not perform a Save As), and emailed the file back to me. I brought the file into Pro after setting up a basemap, and could create the xy feature class, and continue with my work. I have no clue what or why this happened, or how an email step seemed to correct the problem. Any thoughts?

Eric, I submitted a support ticket and was told to clear my browser cache. I had already done this with no change to the issue. So I went and cleared the cache three times, back-to-back, and rebooted twice. The broken source links on the feature service and related tables were restored. Note to self, remember to clear the cache.
