Field Maps- Contingent Values to set up using visibility expression
I’m looking for a solution in the field maps filter. This is not about filtering tasks for mobile workers to view, but for supervisors when creating tasks in Field Maps.
When creating a new task, I’d like the available options in one field to dynamically filter based on the previous selection. For example:
After selecting an Asset Group (ex: Water, Sewer, or Public Works), the Asset Category field should only display the categories related to that group.
Likewise, once an Asset Category is selected, only the relevant Task Types should appear next.
Having the ability to configure dependent or cascading dropdowns (similar to contingent values) within the form setup would make task creation much more efficient and reduce the chance of selecting incorrect options. Do you currently have any work round for this? I have tried the visibility expression but it only does changes of visibility for the entire field, not for the lists in that field.
