I fixed this by putting check marks in the boxes in the configure attributes menu next to the items in the custom attributes box.

FYI, when I created a copy of map and copy of the app, and changed from a custom popup to an attribute list, it will work. She this link: https://gis.co.richland.nd.us/gisportal/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=dc0ec758275646628f6b5d222850fef4&query=parcellines,PIN_TXT=%2714-0000-02813.000%27 So, why can't I use the custom popup?

I just posted a post that I wanted help with and it was "Marked as Spam." I still want help with it but want to know what I did wrong to have it marked so I don't get flagged again??? Here is my post: Hello. I am trying to finish up the "polishing" of a new parcel viewer application. Before I deploy, I must get the query working from the command line. For example: https://www.co.richland.nd.us/ParcelViewer/?query=parcellines,PIN_TXT='14-0000-02813.000' This query works, sort of. It does find and zoom to the parcel, and it opens up a custom pop up. The pop-up has a few things that work, but not everything. Notice the title does display the parcel ID. Notice also that if you scroll down, there are two custom attributes that work, both of the links to external pages that are created using feature class attributes, but all of the other attributes are blank. This same popup works fine when using the identify function. You can see this by closing the popup and then just clicking the same parcel. Also the pop-up works when using the query from the left most widget near the navigation bar. I need someone to point me towards some troubleshooting methods so I can get this working. Thanks. I have accepted this answer, and I have created a PIN field with a attribute rule to populate it. I wish the alias worked better and then I would not have to do that, but there are times when the field comes through even though I have aliased it, especially when publishing to a rest service. This solution works and I thank your team for the excellent product you have produced with the parcel fabric.

This is not true. You cannot change the type of field when its not empty, but you can change the name. I have done this plenty of times. The problem here is more to do with the schema of the parcel fabric.

I am trying to modify the structure of my parcel type-tax. I would like to change the actual field name of the field that is called "Name" to "PIN". I already use this as an alias, but do not like that sometimes the name comes through in processes and sometimes the alias does. I just want to rename this field instead of alias it. Is this possible? I made an attempt using Design..Fields: And the error is: "Cannot alter field name on required fields." Is that the end of the road, or is there some other way to do this?

Hello all. I am creating a parcel viewer in Web AppBuilder to replace an aging javascript application. While I have recreated and exceeded most of the capabilities, I have one last one that I would like to add before cutting over to the new app. In my old application, I could send a URL with an added parameter and it would query the parcels and open the application zoomed into the appropriate parcel. The URL looked like this: https://www.co.richland.nd.us/rcims/index.html#parcel=50-0701-14016.000 I would love to be able to add "#parcel=50-0701-14016.000" and have the application plug this into my query widget. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Regarding tech support: It always takes weeks to get to a person who actually knows anything about parcel fabric. In here I get answers quickly. Thanks.

Answering your side note: I just added the quality editing map as a copy of the other map, and changed some symbology around because I wanted to look at the map differently as I panned around fixing topology errors.

Good call. I put the fabric in a new map and the tools are available when selecting a tax parcel. A real pain to reconfigure how I want it, but at least doable. Thanks.

I am having an issue where newly created parcels are apparently not recognized as parcels. The parcels were created by: 1)using the traverse tool to create tax parcel lines, 2) creating seeds and 3) building active record. Now I want to change parcel type to "pending parcel" and the tool icon is grayed out with an error message shown below. You can also see that there are multiple tools grayed out that should be available. Below is what happens when I try to do exactly the same thing, but using a Conveyance Division instead of a Tax parcel. (Same workflow under the same record) Any ideas what is happening here?
