Hello. I was using Enterprise 10.9. When I read your post, I decided to upgrade to 10.9.1. Unfortunately the problem still exists. I even attempted to build a new app, and add the widget. No dice.

Hello everyone. I have a newer app I created using Web AppBuilder. I included a "Measure" widget, just like I have in several other apps created the same way. I have started to get feedback that they don't like the measure widget as much because it does not give the "feedback" as you move the cursor as to the current distance. I have two maps in my enterprise that both have the same widget, configured the same way, but the older one does it and the new one doesn't. Any way to get this back? This is the old one: And this is the new one: Can I get it back?

I attempted this change to: "for ff in glob.glob(name + "*"):" and I had the same result. Could this be stuffing the zipfile that it is creating into the zipfile that it is creating, creating a loop of sorts?

OK. Maybe in this I can solve another problem. Can I specify a different folder for shapefile that needs to be zipped and the output zip location?

Update to this: I force killed the process through task manager, and the file size had grown huge, and it was an invalid file when I tried to open. See screen shot:

The process "calculate values" seems to have created the zip file just fine, but the model builder is stuck on the step. The zip file was created and has not changed file size for about 20 minutes. See screen shot: I can't understand what would hang it up.

I want to stay in model builder, but if the other solution does not work, I will try this one. Thank you for your contribution. I am sure it will benefit someone, whether its me or another down the road.

I am not yet great at python, so simple is better. If I already know what the full path and shapefile name is always going to be, how would this look simplified?

I have a model builder process that will create a shapefile, that later is retrieved by another process. The other process requires a zip file input. Is there any way I can zip up these files within model builder?

Is the path on a "mapped" drive? I had a problem with that in one tool I was using and I had to have the results saved to a local drive.

I opened a tech support case, and they troubleshot with me and then classified it as a bug (https://my.esri.com/#/support/bugs/BUG-000140067 ) The case has since been fixed and case closed.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I think I understand your use case and I think I anm doing something different that would help. I only use the feature service for internal use for parcel fabric. Then I created a separate Map Service connected to the original database, not the feature service. In the map service, I can customize which fields are visible and also can add joins or relates. You add only the features not the parcel fabric "controller." Does this help?

I am wondering if there is any way the zoom can be modified when zooming to a query result to add a padding. Like I would want a zoom number to be increased by 15%.
