This functionality would be extremely useful. It is a common workflow (as we transition to using Survey123, rather than manually entering data collected in the field into Excel spreadsheets) for me to receive an Excel document and be asked to "translate" it into a Survey and a Word Doc feature report template to automate report generation. I've experienced limitations in being able to replicate functionality of the Excel spreadsheets because I cannot easily reference information collected within a repeat. This is easy to do in Excel, because you simply reference a previous row number in a table. (there are many somewhat complex equations in the specific document I'm thinking of, but one example is returning an error message if any subsequent values in the table (repeat values) are higher than the previous values entered. They must be entered in descending order). Hopefully enough people realize the powerful computation potential of this functionality and it gets added to the product plan.

Hmmm yeah my guess would be just that you didn't specify a different output location when running the tool so it put it in the main project folder. As for the versions, I only recently upgraded to 2.6 myself so I can't really comment on that. Sorry!

Looks to me like the new files are collectively part of a shapefile. At what point did you create this shapefile?

Hi Heather, If you want layer settings (symbology, pop-ups, visibility range etc) to be maintained no matter what map the layer is pulled into, you can make changes at the layer level in the Visualization tab of the Item Details page. Hope that helps!

You might be able to do this with a hosted feature layer view. Create hosted feature layer views—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation In the view layer, configure the pop-up the way you want for those select features. Then set a filter so only those features show up (hopefully there's something specific in the attributes that you can use to distinguish them?) In the original layer in the map, you can set a filter for the opposite criteria so that the features in the view layer don't show up in the original layer. That way they won't appear twice in the map. Hope that helps!

Thanks James. I learned about custom JS functions at the UC and it seems I'll be able to use them to fix several of the roadblocks that I've been facing with Survey123. Very excited about this capability! (now, time to learn JS...)

Hello, I created a survey in Survey123 Connect that automatically records the coordinates of the point and displays them to the user in a Note field. I have that note field set to round to 6 decimal places, but in cases where there are zeros at the end of the coordinate, it does not display the zero. Here is an example: For consistency in the final reports, it is important this this field always have 6 decimal places, even when the last number is a zero. Is there a way to accomplish this?

If you're using a downloaded map for offline use, make sure you remove it from your device and redownload. Probably even worth a shot to sign out and back in again to make sure everything is refreshed.

Egge-Jan Pollé, I learned to adopt this "trick" early on as well! Wanted to add that when I first started, I was under the impression that the Label could not contain spaces or special characters, but I suppose this isn't the case. I always make them equal to each other and haven't had any issues.

I had this happen to me when I was trying to use an unsupported HTML tag - it would display at first but wouldn't save after refresh. You can check out this page to see what's supported within ArcGIS: Supported HTML—ArcGIS Online Help | Documentation Are you using anything not listed on that page?

The way I've done it is add the image to ArcGIS Online, share with everyone, and then use this URL at the bottom of the item details page:

Are you able to share the image with everyone? That would solve the issue of the token expiring.
