Hi, need to clarify things regarding map caching as I need to solve a performance problem: Server 10.2 Map published as a service, cashed till tile 19 (1:1128) AGOL cache. The data and map (mxd) are all in WGS84 (I need this as it better this coordinate for data). The service is published in Web Mercator as I need this for a AGOL service to work. The service is used by an app. As soon as I zoom in too close (different tiles for imagery and topographic) the message "Map not available yet" appears. Now, what is it better?: Recreate the tile in a custom mode: I have realized that if I delete the cache and I tile again from the service properties I can change the tile scheme and tile the map as I want. The map is still in Web Mercator and the tile are customized (tested on another service). Remove the tile and use the dynamic data. Limit the zoom with an app customization (QT) (no idea if I can as I don't make code, I would ask if is it possible). I would go for the first one but I am worried that I can mess something with that. Any idea? Limit the zoom on a map can work? Thanks.

Hi Rawan, on the layer with the lower rank (Well know sites) check if the "Never Remove" option in the "Conflict Resolution" tab is checked. If is checked you will see the label anyway, even overlapping. If unchecked you will be seeing the label in red meaning that it won't be in your output, and the highest rank will be shown.

Hi, me again Trying to find the best route for my (about 1000) points. I am using the network provided with StreetMap Premiun installed on my PC (everything I am using is on my machine) I projected my data in the same GCS of ND (just for excluding any complication related to the transformation) I set the environment rule for the processing extent as per my data extent (as I am using a huge dataset I thought that using this limitation could have been of help, but I am not sure if NA follows this env. restriction, doesn't it?) Geoprocessing Background 64bit is installed (does it help? Do I need to set something in order to have this tool working?) Set background processing enabled. I use ArcMap 1041 I set the find route. Impedance minutes (as I am using a visit time I think is the best way) I use a start time (morning 8:00) reorder points but preserve the first one. use hierarchy ignore invalid I have tried but using some restrictions and also in "just go" mode (ignoring almost all the limitation). It takes about 50mins/1 hour and ArcMAp is on (Not Responding) I also tried to do this: as per my first analysis I have already an order, so I reorderd the OBJID according to this order. If I run the analysis again saying "reorder points" it takes again 1 hour even if the points are already in the right order. If I run again without reordering it takes 2 minutes. Now if I want to include some barriers and I want to recalculate the route, same as above if I reorder: 1 hour (of course I need to reorder since I've got a barrier) If I don't, again a couple of minutes. What I am asking here, is it acceptable having to wait this huge amount of time for a route? I also tried with a smaller dataset, and the time decreases as the number of points decreases. I tried to run the same analysis on PRO and I stopped the process after 1h and 1/2. With Arcmap the resources' usage doesn't go beyond 40-50%. Thank you.

Hi Rachel, I'm replying late. So, I needed to set that value for a simple route, no VRP. Anyway after having had a better look I could find the way. The field Attr_minutes needs to be filled either loading the staying time when you upload your stops (if you have a field with that value) or setting a default value in the route properties if the Attr_minutes is empty. Then you set the impedance to Minutes and you got the route solved by considering that timewindow. Thank you for your help, as I have to work with VRP later on I will be using your advice!

Hi Martin, never seen seen something like that but from your screenshot is seems to me a problem related to the video card. Before some trustworthy replies, have you tried to open the model on another PC, and also can you double click on the tool for getting the parameter windows appears?

Hi Scott, Yes I will, better to contact Esri rather than the vendor directly. In the meantime I will try to put some barriers for preventing the solver to go through that way once I find a mistake; this is the only idea that came into my mind. Thank you.

Hi, I have been using the StreetMap Premium data for my network analyses. I realized that some streets simply are traced where there are not roads. One of them crosses a quarry (!?) I made a check with recent and old imagery. The road neither was there before nor it is there now. I know I can't modify the network coming from this solution. As per your knowledge is there a way for adding some information? Let's say an extension to the network. Let alone that I would do this for many of them and probably it doesn't worth the time spent as I would have to check a widespread area. Probably the best solution is addressing the issue to the vendor and waiting for the new release... Meanwhile, I am waiting for your advice. Thanks.

Hi, beside the "time window" option that doesn't work for me. How can I set a "stay time" let's a minute for each stop? The analysis I am running now doesn't consider this, in fact the total time is too short compared to the reality. Sorry for the poor question but I am a newbie with NA. Thanks.

Hi guys, I've created a model that creates an event layer and then a feature class from a table in SQL the table is updated every 5 minutes and the geprocessing plots the point at its last location according to the timestamp. It works. Now I want to see my custom Symbology. I thought that I should add the tool "apply symbology" and then publish the geoprocessing tool with the map server option checked. The GP needs to be seen on a WAB map. the model does the following: create an events layer, creates a feature class in a scratchGDB (default.gdb for the time being). then I want to apply the symbology and I am not sure the parameter are correct: the problem is that this points feature it does not exits until I create it. All the time I validate, the points FC disappears. If i set my FC as a precondition how can I set a non existing layer as a input. I assume the problem is to be found in the scratchworkspace. How can I make this working? thanks error

Joe thank you for you reply. The only user hunged on that same process could be only myself (I hope ) trying to run the GP on WebAppBuilder most probably at th very same time. As soon as I can re-test the Model I will update here. Anyway thank you for the hint.
