Hi Yvonne, I had the same problem. I could solve only by deleting all the GP history. Don't know whether is the solution but at least I could package.

Hi Mike Minami, correct me if I am wrong. This isn't possible only if your account is public and if you want to share with an external menber? Because, as part of an organization (admin) I can change the owner and assign the ownership to other members. (Member of the organization, not external AGOL member) Thanks

Hi! Windows Server 2008 IIS 7 Arcgis Server 10.3.1 I have installed Arcgis server and then authorized it offline (the computer is connected to internet but somehow I couldn't) I am trying to access for the first time the Manager but i get the error 404. I checked the service and even if it showed "Started" this is what i see if i double click the service (I guess it's wierd, but...) I have tried to enable the .ASP.NET 2.050727 as reported here 38370 - HTTP 404: "The page cannot be found" when trying to launch ArcGIS Server Manager (I know the version is not included in the the list but I wanted to give it a shot) but the asp.net is allowed. I ve tried both with W Firewall on and off. Nothing changes. Thanks.

Hi guys, I've got a question regarding the layer selection on a web map I have a wep app with a series of layers. I want only one layer selected at once. When I select one layer, all the other will be unselected. Is that possible. If so, how? The map has been created on AGOL and the web app on Web appbuilder. I am not a developer, so my first attempt would be doing this without writing code, but if coding is the only way I will sort out anyway. Thanks.

Hi Phylis, Just to add an item in the bullet list of Dan Patterson (btw is already there even though implicitly) Are you running the 10.3 on Windows 10? After having upgraded to W10, the suite worked for a couple of months and then one by one the applications (arcscene, arcmap and pro) started to have problems. I solved everything by upgrading to 10.4. If you cannot upgrade you might try to run arcmap in compatibility mode for W 7 or W8. Unfortunately I cannot say that this workaround works as I am not an expert of this kind of systems' behavior.

Hi, I would need some clarifications on licence manager. On an ipothetical scenario I have let's say 10 basic licenses and 5 advanced, authorized on the same machine. In the case that all the 5advanced are in use, may ArcMap use a basic one (dynamically) and the other way around as well? Thanks.

A correction to my previous answer, I hope this can be helpfull to whom will face this issue in the next days. It is true that ArcGIS PRO started after Dan's suggestion, but next day i had the same problem. I didn't mention that I was working on W10 and I was aware of complatibility issues but the fact is that when I moved to W10, in December, PRO worked properly since then till one week ago. Then something happend. Anyway, the definitive solution was moving to PRO 1.2.

If I remember well, after you sign up for an evaluation copy of ArcGIS you receive an email with a link for activate your arcgis online account. After that, you will receive another email with an activation code ( the format is like: EVA123456789). In the same email you will find all the steps for: 1. downloading ArcGIS (there is a link, use your new credentials for accesing it) and 2. authorizing your evaluation copy.

Hi Vince, thank you for your imput. the ages, in my case is even hours. As I said most of the times I don't see the GP finish worlking. I just cancel the process and Arcmap then crashes. Once I stopped that service that was consuming almost all memory the copying process completed in few seconds.

I don't know whether it is the right approach but I solved by stopping a service that was consuming a lot of memory. I copied and then rerun the service. It worked for me.

Hi guys, I am experiencing this since long time. Once I have to move a FC to an SDE Database: 1) if I export the FC usually takes ages, (even with FC with 20 points) sometimes I cannot even see the geoprocessing finishing. 2) if I copy the FC to the SDE, sometimes works, sometimes, like right now, the process causes a crash. Then, if I cancell the process ArcMap takes even more time to be available again. I am not talking about big datasets, a simple layer with 20/30 points. Looking at the task manager the memory used at the moment is 90%. It might be a memory shorteness? If not, where should I look?
