How to use the "Arrow" button in the Edit toolbar

I am using the Edit Widget and I would like to know how to use the "Arrow" button.

Jose,

   The Arrow tool is available when editing a Polygon Feature Service. When you select this tool and then select a polygon feature from your template picker the first click the point of origin and the second click is the completion of the arrow geometry.

This is nice, the Arrow button actually draws an arrow.

Now the question is: "Why would you do so?"
