Hi, I've got a problem with a service published on arcgis server: (SQL Server 2012, Windows server 2012) I have a number of layers shown on REST service and a number of tables. I can see only one of them (the first one I published). I see them on my mxd only. The properties: Seen on REST Data Type: Standalone Table Table Name: xxx Table Type: SDE Table Database Platform: SQL Server Server: localhost Connection Properties: localhost Authentication Type: Database authentication User name: xxx Database: xxx Version: sde.DEFAULT Description: Instance default version. Has Object-ID Field: Yes Not seen on REST (is an attachment) Data Type: Standalone Table Table Name: xxx Table Type: SDE Table Database Platform: SQL Server Server: localhost Connection Properties: localhost Authentication Type: Database authentication User name: xxx Database: xxx Version: sde.DEFAULT Description: Instance default version. Has Object-ID Field: Yes The property are the same, I suppose there may be a permission issue, how can make them available? Thanks.

Hi, I am trying to authorize a License Manager on a machine that does have an internet connection but still, I get an error as the PC was not connected. Can be that the port used for communicating is closed? Or the license manager is not allowed to communicate? Any suggestion on the procedure to be followed is much appreciated as I am not mastering on Firewall issues. Thanks.

The solution given by Dan Patterson did actually give me the chance of removing the software and then reinstall, but the cause that cause the problem was still there and after an exhausting process of trying this and trying that with the Support, the machine was formatted and the problem went finally away. Thanks.

Worked fine. Data is still there. Actually I was more afraid to make a mess. Anyway, i did not get any warning messages that data is not registered with the server, just the one above. Since I have another service that cannot overwrite but I can publish from scratch I was thinking I had a bigger problem with my server. Thanks FC Basson

Hi FC, thanks for you reply. No, I don't want to overwrite the stopped one. I want to overwrite the current one that is currently running. I want to overwrite a service that has the same name as the MXD and it has never changed either name or folder. (sorry, i did mention about the stopped one just to specify that even though the have a similar name one is stopped and it's impossible that I am trying to overwrite that one.)

Arcgis Server 10.2 I checked the input in the server directories and it matches with my mxd. It doesn't seem I am trying to overwrite a different service. The only similar services is a previous version of the same being stopped and therefore not currently used. I looked on the internet and I couldn't find anything related to this error message. Update: I did uninstall the ArcGIS_Desktop_BackgroundGP_102. I might have messed up really badly because now both Python and desktop don't exist anymore... (desktop is still installed, tough) According to my control panel the only Python version installed is:

I installed "data interoperability" The extension was already licensed but not installed. After the installation I saw a difference in the behaviour of ArcMap. The sf did not start (in task manager: not responding). Anyway I could open a session after many tries. That was the only session I could open. (ArcCatalog, Arcgis admin and License manager (arcgis is licensed as single use but LSM holds other concurrent licenses) and PRO gave me the same problem). Didn't know what to do and I unistalled interoperability as I thought that that was the problem. Still they don't open. I ve tried to repair arcgis but I get this error I might have messed up the python folder. Cannot understand where the problem can be. Does anyone have a hint? Thanks

Hi Yvonne, I had the same problem. I could solve only by deleting all the GP history. Don't know whether is the solution but at least I could package.

Hi Mike Minami, correct me if I am wrong. This isn't possible only if your account is public and if you want to share with an external menber? Because, as part of an organization (admin) I can change the owner and assign the ownership to other members. (Member of the organization, not external AGOL member) Thanks

Hi! Windows Server 2008 IIS 7 Arcgis Server 10.3.1 I have installed Arcgis server and then authorized it offline (the computer is connected to internet but somehow I couldn't) I am trying to access for the first time the Manager but i get the error 404. I checked the service and even if it showed "Started" this is what i see if i double click the service (I guess it's wierd, but...) I have tried to enable the .ASP.NET 2.050727 as reported here 38370 - HTTP 404: "The page cannot be found" when trying to launch ArcGIS Server Manager (I know the version is not included in the the list but I wanted to give it a shot) but the asp.net is allowed. I ve tried both with W Firewall on and off. Nothing changes. Thanks.
