Hi guys, I've created a model that creates an event layer and then a feature class from a table in SQL the table is updated every 5 minutes and the geprocessing plots the point at its last location according to the timestamp. It works. Now I want to see my custom Symbology. I thought that I should add the tool "apply symbology" and then publish the geoprocessing tool with the map server option checked. The GP needs to be seen on a WAB map. the model does the following: create an events layer, creates a feature class in a scratchGDB (default.gdb for the time being). then I want to apply the symbology and I am not sure the parameter are correct: the problem is that this points feature it does not exits until I create it. All the time I validate, the points FC disappears. If i set my FC as a precondition how can I set a non existing layer as a input. I assume the problem is to be found in the scratchworkspace. How can I make this working? thanks error

Joe thank you for you reply. The only user hunged on that same process could be only myself (I hope ) trying to run the GP on WebAppBuilder most probably at th very same time. As soon as I can re-test the Model I will update here. Anyway thank you for the hint.

Hi, I am trying to run a custom model on my Arcmap 10.2. I published the GPserver on REST The tool should be able to read a SQL table and give me the points on a map. Yesterday was working, today I can't run the tool as I get this: ERROR 000258: Output Database Connections\Connection to localhost.sde\Output already exists Lock request conflicts with an established lock [Lock request conflicts with an established lock[ DBO DBO DBO]] Failed to execute (Feature Class to Feature Class). The overwrite option on my arcmap is checked, of course. I need to overwrite as the table will be changing from time to time. The tool published and added in WAB doesn't work as well. Where is the mistake? Thanks

Jayanta good to know, good to know. Just yesterday I merged two datasets (on ArcMap though), then I realized that I had lost the attachments and I recreated them as they were just a few and I didn't pay attention to this. I found also this that confirmed it: Bug: Geodatabase attachments are not automatically included in the output of geoprocessing tools Next time I will use PRO. Thanks

Hi Guys, I am reorganizing our AGOL Organization's members. I found a member (user role) that is shown as logged today as last login. The consumption of credit is zero, everything is zero unless for Subscriber Content - Requests ---> here there is a large number of requests over the past year. I have no idea what is requesting for, as I said any other field like App Used, tags in Items.......any other thing is blank. The login was created long time ago, the owner is not here anymore so I can't ask. Is there a way, from AGOL, to understand what is requesting for and in this case I can transfer the ownership to another user and delete this. I can change the passwords as I have the admin rights but I have no idea if, by changing the password, I can jeopardize the functionalities of an app or service. Thank you.

Hi guys, thank you, I solved with a re-installation. Jayanta I've checked the 1^ link and the trust level was set on full trust level (automatically I would say, since I never changed that). 2^, to be honest it sounded little chinese for me, I have asked for help, but still waiting. Jonathan I've tried with all the possible urls, same as before. Than I tryied to reconfigure the portal and the link "https://webadaptor.domain.com/arcgis/webadaptor" gave me "page not found" If I can't access the web adaptor page I can't reconfigure. (see below, probably I made a mistake when I configured the first time. Paul I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it works. One thing about it, I am on windows 2008 standard. The webadaptor can't be installed twice (tried on Windows 8.1 and it worked, here I couldn't) I had to use this workaround: https://community.esri.com/thread/113961 I am quite sure I made a little mistake when I created the duplicate (probably I copied the sites after the registration of the WA with the server) that's why I could not access the sites via WA. Can't install the 10.4 I don't have the minimum requirements. A day, when I have time I will use the cookbook. I am curious to see how it works. Thanks.

Hi guys, I am having a huge headache with my portal. hope you can help me in finding the solution. after having installed portal and the two web adaptors for server and Portal (all the setups for 10.3.1) I cannot access the portal through the web adaptor. the link https://FullNameOfPC/webadaptorname gives me the error: "Request is not available in this context" I can access the Portal through the 7443 but not the webadaptor. Same for Portaladmin and Sharing/Rest From PortalAdmin, the webadaptor seems to be registered. I would probably need to reconfigure the webadaptor but I am not really sure how should I do. Could you give me a hint? I thought to unregister and then register again or uninstall and install again (At the moment, since this is still a testing environment, the Certificate is a self signed one) Thanks.

Hi, I've got a problem with a service published on arcgis server: (SQL Server 2012, Windows server 2012) I have a number of layers shown on REST service and a number of tables. I can see only one of them (the first one I published). I see them on my mxd only. The properties: Seen on REST Data Type: Standalone Table Table Name: xxx Table Type: SDE Table Database Platform: SQL Server Server: localhost Connection Properties: localhost Authentication Type: Database authentication User name: xxx Database: xxx Version: sde.DEFAULT Description: Instance default version. Has Object-ID Field: Yes Not seen on REST (is an attachment) Data Type: Standalone Table Table Name: xxx Table Type: SDE Table Database Platform: SQL Server Server: localhost Connection Properties: localhost Authentication Type: Database authentication User name: xxx Database: xxx Version: sde.DEFAULT Description: Instance default version. Hi, I am trying to authorize a License Manager on a machine that does have an internet connection but still, I get an error as the PC was not connected. Can be that the port used for communicating is closed? Or the license manager is not allowed to communicate? Any suggestion on the procedure to be followed is much appreciated as I am not mastering on Firewall issues. Thanks.

The solution given by Dan Patterson did actually give me the chance of removing the software and then reinstall, but the cause that cause the problem was still there and after an exhausting process of trying this and trying that with the Support, the machine was formatted and the problem went finally away. Thanks.

Worked fine. Data is still there. Actually I was more afraid to make a mess. Anyway, i did not get any warning messages that data is not registered with the server, just the one above. Since I have another service that cannot overwrite but I can publish from scratch I was thinking I had a bigger problem with my server. Thanks FC Basson
