Check the list of feature classes and tables that are being replicated, if the names aren't identical in source and destination, then you probably have a feature class included from the source that is not in the destination GDB. The create wizard is then trying to replicate two different source feature classes to the same destination feature class. In my case I had checked replicate existing data only, and was getting the error item name already exists & item not found. When I checked the list I found parcels & streets were being created twice from two different source feature classes.

Unfortunately, the one feature class that was edited is the one i can no longer export, well i can export 2632 of 2951 records. Hasn't been edited for almost a year so was corrupt as far back as our backup copies go. Was a wierd thing, just tried compressing then uncompressing, now I get access denied on the feature class in question.

Using ArcGIS 10.4, I have a point feature class in a file GDB that is somehow corrupt. I've tried Recovering the File GDB, that feature class comes back empty. I've tried uncompress, it tells me nothing is compressed even though the command should be dimmed out in that case. I've tried deleting and recreating the spatial index. When I try to export the data I get an error or it exports 2632 features even though the table says it has 2951 features. copy and paste fails when I choose paste from the popup menu with the error "copy failure". You can't see the missing features (features that won't export or import or paste) in the map, just that the table says they are there and you can select all and get 2951 of 2951 features. Even if you export just the table, you get 2632 features in the output table. I tried adding fields to the table so I could calc geometry, but after adding field to the table it then shows only 2632 records. Any help recovering 300 points would be appreciated!

Thanks Chris i worked with ESRI support to try and get it running on our 10.4 Server. We got hung up on the application being able to access the user table. And they finally told me that I need to upgrade. I'm sure there may be a work around but we didn't find it. It seems there may be some issue with the GP service permissions once it runs inside the app. It worked fine when I ran it from Arcmap, both sending email and updating the user table.

FYI, It turns out that after some testing there are issues that make it impossible for the app to access the user table without an upgrade to at least 10.4.1. Thanks for all the help!

I think that I have it really close, changed the email templates to reference hydrants and renamed the layer. Everything seems to be working independently, until I put it together in the Web Appbuilder (developer edition). At that point when I enter an email to signup/login I get a generic error "unable to complete operation". I think it must have something to do with the AuthGP service. An entry is never made in the usertable and an email is never sent. The AuthGP service does run in Arcmap before publishing the service. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Trying to get an adopt a hydrant app running, but even tho the AuthGP functions when I run it in Arcmap, I get the error "unable to complete operation" when trying to enter and email signup/login once I've added the widget in Web Appbuilder and launch the app. I've tried deploying it anyway, but got the same error when it was added to portal.

Thanks so much for your input on this topic, it does appear to be working with version 10.4. I haven't gotten all the bugs out of the Adopta App I deployed but don't think they are related to Server Version.

I noticed the instructions show 10.4 when installing ArcREST, but not sure that the upgrade to 10.4.1 would change that.

ArcGIS 10.4, ArcServer 10.4, Federated Portal 10.4, SQL Server 2014 Geodatabase All these errors give the message Packaging Succeeded, but publishing failed. Yesterday I was getting 001488, and eventually solved the problem by creating a new MXD and copying the layers into it, I was able to publish. This morning I noticed one layer in an already published service wasn't drawing in the web map I added it to. I tried to re-publish the Service and got Errors 001487 & 001369, same error message I was getting yesterday with the other number. I tried a number of things again including creating a new MXD. Nothing worked until I removed the server account privileges from a particular Dataset and then gave the same privileges back to it again. I was then able to re-publish the service. So my question is what could cause a layer in a service to quit drawing, finally requiring the action I took to remove privileges and reinstate them? Is it possible that if I had renamed one of the Feature layers in the Dataset after initially publishing, this it what it took to fix it?

I am getting this error after using the popup menu to import multiple feature classes into an SQL geodatabase dataset from a file geodatabase. I have to close ArcCatalog and then the problem is gone until I import something else. ArcGIS for server 10.4, SQL 2014, on Windows Server 2012 R2

Ok Thanks Andrew, perhaps this is the sort of error I might get if the password of the Server account was changed and we hadn't run the configure arcgis server account utility.

Does anyone know if it makes a difference if you are using a local or domain account for acgis server? Are you trying to register the database with an OS account?
