When I search a data layer in the search bar, that layer is then filtered. If I attempt to make a second search without first clicking the "X" in the search bar, no suggestions appear.
It's easy enough for me to keep this in mind, but many of my users find this counter-intuitive, especially because the search bar in other locations do not filter the searched layer, allowing repeat searches without clicking the "X".
I can see situations in which the filtering is useful, but not all situations. I'd love to have this as an option to be enabled/disabled.
