My scale bar is KM, yet the Print Widget default setting is Miles... makes no sense! The default should be configurable. Very useful. Would also be good to see this functionality applied to Filters (date/category) as well as Lists - data is not populated UNTIL the filter is selected. At the moment we have people confused at seeing all this data before they even make a selection!

The whole idea of individuals owning content is a pain and not how most businesses work. We are using additional IDs as content owners to get around this design flaw. Team members change constantly as people move in and out, so having these content owner IDs helps with data maintenance and stability.

I'm sure this must be an Idea already... I can't find it. And as far as i am aware it is not out-of-the-box functionality. In ArcGIS Online and Web AppBuilder Edit and Smart Editor widgets, it would be valuable to be able to set the default date to now or today. We have users enter records through a web app and its a hassle to have to open the calendar and select the date (which is always the current date).

I have set up a filter to select a date range. I define the date option as 'the date...' so the user can select a date from the calendar. I only want a date selected from the calendar, hence only one option enabled. When the user populates the filter, they need to reselect 'the date...' (which is the only option) before the calendar appears. It would be better to have the default setting loaded already (in this case so the calendar opens when you click on the filter). If only one option has been defined, why do you need to select it first?!

This is something we would also like to see also. I agree with Jed Jackson‌. Very confusing for users to see content before they make a selection... If not currently possible, this would be a great enhancement. Thanks, Jamie.

Hi Brent, Thanks for the info. Once i made a copy of the feature in the web map and deleted the original feature, it was all good. Sounds like it just got a bit out of whack when i changed the pop-up settings. The issue is already resolved for me. Just a bit hairy for a moment there as i have people in the field using that map. We are using Explorer on iOS. Thanks, Jamie.

The original post is from late 2018 and this is still an issue in 2020 for ArcGIS Online. Its not a specific issue for Collector or Explorer as it seems to impact both mobile apps, based on all the comments. I am having this issue with a map in Explorer. I configured a pop-up and can no longer access the map in Explorer. I get this message " unable to open map "invalid call with current token type" ". This is not a new map and the audience has been using it for a few weeks without issue. Just happened when I configured the pop-up. I am seeing this issue as the content owner. I made a copy of the feature (in the Web Map) and deleted the original and everything seems to work fine now. I can configure the pop-up and see the results in Explorer. This behavior seems a little buggy. Any thoughts from Esri staff? Thanks, Jamie.

Hi All, Using the Dashboard theme for Web AppBuilder, what is the secret to modifying the layout? What seems like a simple activity is incredibly frustrating. I move widget panes, they look good on the modify layout window, when i accept the changes, widgets are in different places and some get grouped! Is there a trick to this? And how do you then ungroup them? I have tried dragging them out (Widget tab). All this does is reorder them. Thanks. Jamie.
