Hello, I have configured Portal (11.3) to use ArcGIS Online utility services and have exposed this to our Portal users no problem. I was curious if it is possible to track which users are taking advantage of this capability, as the costs of the credits is something we would like to make sure gets attributed to the right groups who are benefiting from these services.

Hello, I was curious if it was possible to style a scene layer differently by face. I would like to color the top of a feature a different color than the sides. Is this possible without making the top a separate feature? The purpose of this would be 2-fold. It would make it easier to style by attribute to differentiate between sub-classes of a feature layer without completely changing the styling and would also make it easier to tell the top from the sides when viewing in 3D space.

Data store connections open and close very quickly, and the describedatastore only returns the current number of connections. You can have 150 1 second and 0 the next. Additionally, opening a map can open multiple connections, depending on the amount of data that is getting requested to satisfy that operation. 1 connection does not mean 1 user. Opening task manager on the data store machine is one way to better figure out where the CPU usage is coming from too.

The internal database keeps like 5 connections for internal processes, you can't get around these, but you can increase the max number of connections by using the changedbproperties command line tool on the data store machine. Documentation for this can be found here: ArcGIS Data Store utility reference—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise The more connections you have, the more resources your data store will pull, so you will need to probably figure out why your CPU is maxed out (and maybe check RAM too) before making this update.

GNSS metadata reporting for geopoint question types is very built out, with the ability to access accuracy information, as well as location provider information. The list of metadata options available for geoshape and geotrace question types is much more limited, only offering area and distance metrics. It would be useful to be able to pull summary metrics about the average accuracy of a line/polygon, as well as be able to access per vertex metadata in line with the geopoint question type.

Publisher settings within Survey123 Connect are dependent on the portal the publisher is connected to. It would be valuable to be able to configure these settings in our organization to ensure that users are able to easily follow publishing expectations. Specifically, the ability to default the "Use global ID parent keys in repeat relationships" to enabled when publishing to ArcGIS Enterprise would be very helpful for some of my workflows that depend on these relationships being set up this way. Additionally, being able to configure this would allow for us to see fewer differences when switching between publishing forms to ArcGIS Online vs. ArcGIS Enterprise.

Hello, I was curious if it was possible to update organization settings when publishing to ArcGIS Enterprise. Specifically, the setting called "Use global ID parent keys in repeat relationships". When connected to ArcGIS Online, this is defaulted to yes, while when connected to ArcGIS Enterprise, it is defaulted to no. I would like to change this default in Enterprise to yes.

In ArcGIS Online, part of the organization tab for administrators includes a graph of total hours per day that staff with named user licenses have an instance of ArcGIS Pro open. A screenshot of this graph is attached. Especially with the deprecation of the ArcGIS License Administrator for ArcGIS Pro 3.4, it would be useful to be able to track activity by named users who have ArcGIS Pro access.

I also see a good number of files in the Temp directory on my GP server (as well as Hosting, but not sure if that helps). I have seen this app data location used for staging by some of the System and Utilities services like offline packaging. Not sure what your GpService is doing, but if you are taking advantage of any other services during the execution of your service those might be writing there.

I was curious if anyone knows about a way to access data within backups of a data store without needing to restore back to that version of the data. I have some staff who mistakenly deleted a large sum of data in a hosted feature service in our Enterprise that I would like to be able to restore from a backup we took, but we have other feature services that have been active between the backup and now that I don't want to lose out on. Is this even possible?

Just following up on this. Esri support was able to provide me with a workflow that solved this issue. After reconnecting our "ghost server". I followed a handful of steps to manually disconnect the server from configuration files on all the servers and restart the services of the datastore and server.

Hello, I have some users in Enterprise who are wishing to run the "Profile" tool that is a part of the "Ready to Use" toolbox in ArcGIS Pro. Link to the toolbox here: An overview of the Ready To Use toolbox—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation These tools run on ArcGIS Online servers and require my users to log into ArcGIS Online to access. Can I expose these tools to my users in Enterprise and allow them to run these tools with the credentials of one of our accounts in ArcGIS Online? Ideally, we would not spin up extra accounts in Online just to use these tools.
