Current editor tracking functionality allows us to track what users are editing data and when, but we are not able to track the "how" behind the edit. It would be valuable to be able to track what application (such as ArcGIS Pro, Web Map, Feature Layer Data Tab, Survey123 Mobile Application, Survey123 Web Application, ArcGIS Field Maps, etc.) was utilized for making edits. For me specifically, with the deprecation of form based webhooks for Survey123, we are losing the ability to trigger webhooks directly from a form submission. This is replaced with feature service webhooks. Being able to differentiate between form submissions and other edits on a given feature service would allow us to trigger web hooks only when the edit comes from a Survey123 form.

Thank you for the information, @ChrisDunn1! I am running ArcGIS Enterprise 11.4 and I do not see this setting. Is this something I should expect to see in a more recent version of Enterprise? For reference, I see Map area level of detail, Default extent, Edit multiple and Markup as options in the Map section.

Hello, I was curious if it was possible to allow users to take maps offline without allowing them to create user defined offline areas. We have predefined offline areas created via Field Maps Designer, but some field staff are still choosing to create their own areas, which we are trying to avoid.

I was curious if it was possible to configure the default record users are presented with when opening a form containing a repeat from the inbox. By default, forms load to the first repeat record, and I would like this to be updated to the last. Was just looking to check that I am not missing any functionality before opening an idea. Thank you!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing issues with survey123 forms embedded in dashboards. Users who are using Google Chrome and have installed the most recent (Nov, 5th 2025) update have not been able to access forms via ArcGIS Dashboards. They are getting connection blocked and CORS errors. These issues are not present when accessing the forms/dashboards in Edge. If anyone has any information on this, it would be appreciated!

I had a similar experience and was able to resolve this by adding "&anonymousAccess=true" to the end of the URL that is generated in Field Maps Designer. This anonymousAccess parameter defaults to false and restricts access even though the map was shared publicly. Hopefully this fixes your issue as well!

Wanted to add our experience with this issue as well. We have been working with Professional Services to try to address this orphaned table issue at 11.4 on Windows Server 2022. Running maintaindatastore.bat has not been useful in cleaning up these orphaned tables. We have been able to consistently create orphaned tables by turning off the data store service and deleting a feature service. The turning off of the data store service does not stop the service from being deleted, even though the table remains in the data store. Additionally, we have seen that edit capable feature services and feature services with multiple sublayers have a higher probability of becoming orphaned.

Hey Sameer, You are correct that the Professional Plus user type includes the 3D Analyst extension. The problem I was facing was that I had an account that had both the Professional Plus user type as well as a separate 3D analyst add-on extension assigned to them, meaning they were double licensed for the 3D Analyst license. I was unable to remove the 3D analyst add-on license from this Professional Plus account until I downgraded them to just a Professional account. We were looking to remove this 3D Analyst add-on so other users could use it, since the original account was already licensed through the Professional Plus user type. Hope this makes sense!

Hey Sameer, In my case, the licenses were unable to be removed if the current user type was not compatible with the license (Such as a Professional Plus user type having a 3D analyst extension assigned, or a Mobile Worker user type having the Location Sharing add on). By updating the user's user type to one that is compatible with the license, I was able to remove said license (downgrading the Professional Plus user type from the previous example to a creator, for instance). Even though I was able to get this workaround to work, I found just removing all of the licenses and re-adding the ones I wanted to keep on the account to be a little easier.

Photos taken within the Field Maps interface are stored directly in the mobile geodatabase as a part of Field Maps. In the situation where synced data is not fully transferred to the server (for any reason) and the offline area is deleted, users run the risk of accidently deleting photos or other attachments taken in Field Maps. Most of my users do not initially realize that these photos are not saved in the photo library. At either the Application level or the Map level, it would be nice to have a setting that also saves these photos to the photo library on the device as one additional level of redundancy without needing users to jump between Field Maps and the Camera app.

Adding on to note that I have experienced this kind of bug when attempting to set a field on a layer with 0 features. Seems to error out on both extremes (too many records, or too few).

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to include any conditional formatting within a table as part of a report template. I am looking to color code the background of a cell based on the answer of a select_one question that is a part of a repeat. Example of what I am hoping the output report would look like: Where each row in this table would be the answers from 1 repeat record in a form.

Hello! I was curious if it was possible to add a "Mask" to images that are layers in a web map. In ArcGIS Pro, this is an option in the symbology of an image layer. I have been unable to find a similar property in the web map. Ultimately, I am looking for a way to stop the black space in the below screenshot from rendering within a web map.
