Hello Stella-MarisAgu, I am sorry for the inconvenience you had with the installation of ArcGIS Maps for Adobe on Illustrator 2020 (v24). We are not able to reproduce the issue in-house. There are a couple of options you may want to try: 1. Install a newer version of Illustrator, like 2021 or 2022, and then install the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe app 3.1. 2. Install a version of Photoshop (2020 and above) and then install the ArcGIS Maps for Adobe app 3.1 The team will continue investigating the possible cause of the problem. To help with this investigation, could you please share with us some details on your environment setting, including - Windows OS version - Your OS locale - What language version of Illustrator 24 installed - The folder that Illustrator 24 is installed on your machine - Is Illustrator 24 installed per machine or per user Thanks, ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Team

Hello SharifP, Sorry for the inconvenience. Do you encounter the problem constantly? I have tried your steps in-house and can reproduce the issue intermittently, once in a while. If that's the case, the issue could be related to the installation of the application on your machine. I suggest you reinstall the latest version of Maps for Adobe 3.1 from the product page https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/maps-for-adobecc/overview. Hello @Brianna_Eaton Could you please provide some details about your environment? - Windows or macOS - The versions of Illustrator If you install Adobe Illustrator after Maps for Adobe 3.1 installation, it could be a problem. One thing you can try is to uninstall and reinstall Maps for Adobe 3.1. Please let us know if the approach works or not. Xingdong Maps for Adobe Team

@Brianna_Eaton Sorry for the inconvenience of keeping multiple versions of Illustrator due to the compatibility issue. I have good new news. Adobe fixes the defect in Illustrator v26 for macOS, which was released two days ago. With this fix, we are able to move Maps for Adobe forward. Our Team is working on a new release, which will support the latest Adobe apps with many enhancements on application usability and stability. The new version will be available very soon. Hello NicholasKockler, Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are a Windows user, the latest version of Maps for Adobe 3.0.1 supports Illustrator 25.4.1. You can download the app from the product page https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/maps-for-adobecc/overview. If you are mac user, the latest version of Maps for Adobe is 3.0.0, which doesn't support Illustrator 25.4.1 due to a defect in the mac version of Illustrator https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/43877991-reading-xmp-data-in-scripts-broken-by-25-4-update. Adobe confirms a fix in their upcoming new release in Oct. Once the new version of Illustrator goes public, Maps for Adobe will have an update very soon. Meanwhile, you could keep using Maps for Adobe with Illustrator 25.2.x release or 24.x. Hi NigelBaker, It is in our plan. But I don't have an estimate of when we will have a fix. Adobe did a major update on its extension framework in Illustrator 25.3 and introduced some breaking changes. We are investigating the compability issue and looking for a solution. Meanwhile, you could keep using Maps for Adobe with Illustrator 25.2.x release. Sorry for the inconvenience. Xingdong Maps for Adobe Team
