Hi NigelBaker, It is in our plan. But I don't have an estimate of when we will have a fix. Adobe did a major update on its extension framework in Illustrator 25.3 and introduced some breaking changes. We are investigating the compability issue and looking for a solution. Meanwhile, you could keep using Maps for Adobe with Illustrator 25.2.x release. Sorry for the inconvenience. Xingdong Maps for Adobe Team

Hello BryanNicholson1, Thank you for using Maps for Adobe for your map-making project. We are sorry for the inconvenience you have encountered with the blank AIX file. Looking at the symptom "not prompted to sign in to ArcGIS Maps", looks like opening AIX didn't pass the app's license check. We are not sure if it was caused by the Windows Update or not and will look into that possibility. Do you have the same problem when you log into Maps for Adobe first before opening AIX by going to Illustrator->Extensions->ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative cloud? Thanks, Maps for Adobe Team

Hi @HAS_student_Jarm Sorry for your inconvenience with the AIX file opening. Did the file eventually open for you? 20MB size of the file might be a cause of the problem. The number of artworks in the file also plays an important role in the performance. Illustrator itself has a limit on the number of paths it can handle. If you can share the AIX file, It will be helpful for the team to investigate the problem. Thanks Xingdong

Hi ks_sustrans, Thanks for reaching out. The old OpenStreetMap layers were deprecated. A new set of layers are now available under Maps for Creative Cloud -> OpenStreetMap (Beta) node. Let us know if you still have problems accessing the layers. Thank you!

Updated on Feb 2021: ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud 2.2.1 patch is now for Windows users only. macOS users should get the version 2.2.2 update here which contains all the fixes included below and a fix for the compatibility issues with opening .aix files from ArcGIS Pro on a macOS with Adobe Illustrator v25.1 and above. Download the 2.2.1 patch (Windows) from here or get the latest update directly from the extension. This patch addresses the following issues when importing AIX: - Incorrect shape for polygons rendered in ArcGIS Pro as gradient, pattern, or hatch fill (ENH-000133904) - Missing masks for layer defined in ArcGIS Pro with annotation - Vector tile layer import anomalies for AIX created from ArcGIS Pro 2.7 - Missing Esri logo and copyright information when syncing new data in the AIX workflow. - Invalid file error when opening AIX created from apps other than ArcGIS Pro For more information about the product, please visit help. A new release (version 2.2) for ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud is now available. Download it from here or get the latest update directly from the extension. This release includes a new capability to the AIX workflow, geospatially enabled AIX. Check out Sarah's blog post for more information about this new feature. Hello Alex, Sorry to hear about the problem and the inconvenience you went through for your presentation. Did you uninstall/reinstall Maps for Adobe after you install Illustrator 2020? That should fix the problem. Our new release update that supports the new Adobe CC 2021 will be available very soon. While waiting for the new update, you can have Adobe 2020 version installed side by side with 2021 and use our app in Illustrator 2020. Thanks, Xingdong

Hello Ken, Sorry to hear the troubles you have gone through. The current version Maps for Adobe 2.1 doesn't support Adobe's new Illustrator and Photoshop 2021 versions. We are working on a new release to address that. The new release will be available soon. The delay is caused by a fundamental issue in Adobe's 2021 apps, which can cause extensions to freeze/crash. We are working with Adobe to have the issue addressed. For now, you need to stay with Illustrator 2020 (v24) to run Maps for Adobe extension and import aix files from ArcGIS Pro. Thanks, Xingdong

Hello Andrew, Thank you for contacting us for the feature request. Illustrator panel doesn't support "Maximize Button". You said you need to routinely resize the Mapboards/Compilation panel windows. Hello Fellence, Sorry for the inconvenience. You should be able to use the map you created in ArcGIS Maps for Adobe. I found the url you shared is pointing to the webmap viewer instead of the item. To import the map you can either use the URL to the item https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=0437e41239d440a8bcde89e21b6c9a9c or search ArcGIS online with the item ID "0437e41239d440a8bcde89e21b6c9a9c". Hello Fellene, PLUS account is designed for the users of ArcGIS Maps for Adobe only. It is not usable outside our application, including the ArcGIS Online website. Though you can log in to ArcGIS Online site using ID “fellene2020”, you are using an account different from your PLUS subscription and thus has no PLUS privileges. In order to import the layer/webmap you or someone has into Maps for Adobe app, the item needs to be shared as a public item. Could you please check if your map is shared?
