I just randomly checked today, but I am seeing it show up in our gov cloud tenant! However, I am only seeing actions, no triggers available. What do other folks see?

Hello, This might be a dumb question, but our organization has both ArcGIS Indoors as well as the Utility Network in our future. Indoors is obviously 3D enabled but so is the UN (or can be). We are wondering if there is any interplay between these two schemas. For example, if we have Indoors, can we also show our 3D UN data and have that UN data also be floor aware? Can data be in both schemas? We are struggling to understand what ESRI tech stack should be in play when modeling utilities that are inside buildings. We are about to do a massive data collection campaign of our vertical facilities, and I would love to know if there is something we need to be collecting in order for our UN assets to be floor aware (if that is possible).

I'm just wondering if there has been any movement on this idea yet or if we can get an update. It's been several years. With ESRI and FEMA being partners seems like this would be a no brainer to do and should be available in the living atlas. The fact that FEMA is pushing folks to the PBS map is laughable. ESRI is the technology that many emergency operations centers are being built around and not having federal emergency alerts as a layer seems amazing to me at this point.

Well that's embarassing. Should have looked there. Thanks @kkefer. So I tested this. It does indeed work or update all these items for the webmap. But it does not carry over to any of the feature layers. You would still need to go back and update each one. Also, "categories" is still missing altogether.

Hi All. Simple idea\request. While publishing content from Pro (whether web maps or layers), there is only a sub selection of item description fields available compared to item descriptions on AGO or Portal. This means that once you are done publishing in Pro, you have to go back to AGO or Portal and finish adding the rest of the information (and then obviously this information is not in your aprx either, which is frustrating). This just seems silly not having the same fields between platforms. From what I can tell, Pro only has the "Name", "Summary", and "Tag" fields, but does not include fields for "Description", "Categories", "Credits (Attribution)", and "Terms of Use". For us, we really need everything filled out. Having to bounce between platforms to get all the item descriptions filled out also lends itself to more items missing that information generally, which isn't good. Obviously, if the item needs to be overwritten, updated, or any changes are needed on the item descriptions, it would be nice to do all this in one place in Pro. It's the simple things in life that go a long way 😉

Hi @JFarmer, Thanks for the response and looking forward when you will post that blog. In this particular space, I think we are hoping to reduce our overall software and infrastructure footprint as well as the hope to write business driven workflows, rather than system driven workflows. If we can utilize a SaaS offering for workflow manager to handle both Enterprise and AGO needs, this would be preferred (we always struggle with availability of network infrastructure). If we have to do on prem, that's fine, just means a little more work. What I really don't want is having to have both because we have both Enterprise and AGO. Having to implement a "flavor" of workflow manager for each platform, I think will become very burdensome, because overall our workflows are not relegated cleanly to these system delineations. For example, being a City, we have a complicated workflow every time our City Boundary changes which includes data updates, notifications, and changes to published services in multiple locations. Feature services are both in our Enterprise system as well as on AGO. Data access, view and audiences are different (private verses pulic). We have many data sets like this. I want to eliminate the need of having to author different workflows based on a system, and instead write one cohesive workflow as it truly exists defined by the business case. Would I have to write double the workflows if we have data in both systems? How do these workflows "talk" or know what step each is at? Having workflows "aware" of what is happening in either platform is important if the "flavor" of workflow manager must be separate. If AGO Workflow is agnostic to what is on Enterprise, and Enterprise Workflow is agnostic to what is on AGO, this is unhelpful. Many organizations use and need both systems, and singular workflows span both systems. Drawing a "line" based on the system platform breaks up workflows (at least I think it will for us), and will create more complexity and overhead, rather than clarity and helpfulness. We also do not have clean deliniations in terms of who uses Online vs Enterprise. Everyone in the org uses both. Some of this in my mind is still somewhat theoretical as we have not implemented any Workflow Manager at all, so I am imaging and projecting in my head how this might work, and I might not understand everything including current system capabilities (hence my oringal question 😉). Would love to discuss more!

Saw that Workflow Manager for ArcGIS Online dropped today. This is a really cool. I am wondering if someone from ESRI could further explain the similarities\differences and capabilities between the online version and on prem Enterprise version. Is there feature parity? Interoperbility? If we have both Enterprise and Online would I need both "flavors" of workflow manager to work with both platforms, or are they interoperable (i.e. can Enterprise workflow manager work with ArcGIS online and can Online Workflow Manager work with Enterprise)? Hi all. I am back from the UC and just wanted to verify\clarify something I heard with the broader community. We are investigating the UN for fiber management for our City. I asked ESRI at the booth if it can do conduit and splicing managment (fundamental needs for managing fiber). I was told that I would need to use a third party solution (i.e. Schneider)? Is this true? If so, then why does ESRI market the UN as a fiber solution if it can't do these fundamentally required things? Hopeing the person at the booth was just wrong.....

Hello. Kudos to ESRI for making the journey to high resolution digital twins more accessible and attainable for organizations. I think many of us were blown away by what was showcased at this year's UC. One thing that would be helpful I think for the community is to understand what would be both the minimum, optimal and important image collection settings (resolution, overlap, sidelap, etc.) and any other BMBs to make these wonderful digital twins such as what was shown in the plenary (City of Cambridge, MA). Knowing these variables is important to develope image acqusition strategies. Thanks.

Hello. I am trying to work through the Development Impact Analysis solution, specifically the shadow impact analysis tools. I have been following the helpful video "Shadow Impact Analysis Tutorial for ArcGIS Pro" on ESRI's website. However, I am stuck at step one - Create Sun Positions task. I have tried with my own data as well as using the exact data and parameters used in the video. No matter what I do or what data I try, I receive the same error below. There seems to be a problem with the underlying python script, receiving a "math domain" error. I have included an example output from the tool below and have only removed my username from file paths for security purposes. Help please. Sorry for the frequent posts. I have been diving into this application and love it! I love the way all of your scheduled sessions sync over and you can see where they are on the map! It is very helpful in seeing where sessions are in relation to one another, particularly gauging how far I am going to have to walk. This is a huge value add to the UC experience. My next item of UC planning is I am currently looking through the long list of vendors at the Expo. Currently, I just printed out the list from the UC site. (list is in alphbetical order per category) and am highlighting on a print out vendors I would like to visit or am interested in. I'm then trying to figure out where all of them are on the Expo floor and try to come up with some kind of "game plan". I would like to see where all of these booths are in relation to one another, be able to track or mark off ones I have visted, etc. I can think of a couple things that could help in this area. If I knew what the underlying webmap was for the application, I could bring it into Pro and be able to create my own "booth visitation" map by selecting the booths of interest. Or perhaps have a way to select vendors that you are interested in visiting in the application and have that be visible on the map, and save this somehow. Or perhaps, the most brute force way, is allow a printing option as @BillFox mentions above so I can highlight booths on paper. You nailed helping navigate sessions, but anything that could help curate the Expo vendor expereince a little more would be awesome.
