Hello, Can anyone tell me why clustering Multipoint Features is not possible in a Web Map? Is there a chance that it will be possible in the future? Thanks a lot, Annina Katie Cullen

Hi Derek Law, You say that changing the layer visibilty affecting the widgets is unsupported. Does that mean not YET or definitely? Another solution for my issue with this would be to have the possibility to show nothing or everything in the same selector. Are there any plans to implement something like that? Thx

There's another idea about that: Add multiple data sources in a dashboard tool But if you have your data in one layer, you can split your bar charts by another attribute. Yet this doesn't help if you want to compare two separate data sources (e.g. 2 feature layers) in the same chart.

Hi there, I have a similar issue. My data is divided in 3 layers (multipoints, lines, surfaces), but they have all the same attributes. It would be awsome if there is a way to create the graphs and diagrams combining the 3 layers as there subject/objective is the same independently of their shape. There are several ideas about that, e.g.: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-dashboards-ideas/plotting-series-from-multiple-sources-in-the-same/idi-p/921953 Vote up!

Hi Devin, Unfortunately representations do not solve my issue, as there are sometimes points of the same symbology-type overlap (offsetting will not disperse them, they just move into the same direction) and I need to have something like a leader line to show the exact location... Thanks anyway.

Hi Kory, Thanks for your reply. My multipoints are planned actions on e.g. railway stations (bicycle parking, park&ride, platform extension... with different priorities, so it's a symbology based on 2 fields), the same action plan can affect 2 different railway stations, therefore it was decided to use multipoint fc. There might be about 4-5 points at the same or very nearby location, and I would like to put the points on my (print) map so they do not overlap. I didn't find a solution with representations or symbology offset (not always the same type of points are clustered together and sometimes there are 2 with the same symbology) and I don't want to change the geometry of my features. I imagine something like the labelling offset with leader lines to the actual point. I stumbled upon this post and was wondering if this could be a solution... I do not necessarily need to display the cluster information. Cheers

Hi, Is there a way to apply/import symbology from a Multipoint layer on a common Point layer? Thanks, Annina

Hi all, I have a similar issue, but: - The disperse marker doesn't work on multi point FC - In Pro, the disperse marker modifies the geometry (Representations are not yet supported) - Working with labels doesn't work for me (2 fields based "multilayer" symbology) - Offsetting a symbol isn't an option either, as not always the same types are "clustered" together - Need to show the exact location as well (e.g. with leader lines) - Setting reference scale doesn't solve the overlap issue (either the symbols overlap, or they get too small to distinguish) So something like that: https://community.esri.com/ideas/5998 would be awesome, but it's not yet available. Any other ideas? Go back to ArcMap and into representations? Thx

Hi Kory Kramer, will it make it to 2.5? Will Multipoint FC be supported? #point cluster #dispersed points #multipoint features

Hi Luiz Amadeu Coutinho, Did you find a solution for your issue? I've got the same thing here with ArcGIS Pro 2.4.1. The workaround here worked for me: https://community.esri.com/message/16748 , yet I would love to know why the preserve attributes button did not work...

Hi Tom, You are right! Actually, there was a rotation field in my index-fc which I really did not remember having it added and even more filled out..., doing too many things at once, I guess... So everything's as expected in ArcMap, and Pro honors that rotation-field as well 🙂 Sorry bothering you with that.

Thanks a lot, Tom Bole, I'll give the rotation field a try. Yet I was actually talking about these differences of behaviour: While ArcGIS Pro applies the map frame properties to all the pages in the map series, ArcMap (Data frame properties) applies them only to the selected page. Is this difference the expected behaviour? Thx

Hi Vishnu Pedireddi, in ArcMap you can rotate a single page in a map series, in Pro I only found it for all the pages. Did I miss this or is this function not (yet) available? Thx #layout with map series #map rotation #map frame

Hi Abi, By default, ArcGIS Pro uses the basemap set as default within your organisation (online or portal). You can change it in the Settings: Choose "Options" and then "Map and Scene". HTH
