The Bug https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug/labels-on-multipoint-layers-do-not-display-in-the-new-m-bug-000131800 is considered now as "Known Limit", is there really no way to fix this?

Just linking another idea, hoping to get a bit more visibility on the issue: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-indoors-ideas/apply-active-floor-filter-to-all-buildings/idi-p/1512302 Thanks!

Just a suggestion: Create copy of the Pathways FC where you only keep your manually created features, if you use the generate pathways/thin pathways tools for your other floors. Otherwise they will be overwritten when you update your floor plans. This way you can append them manually afterwards to the final Pathways FC. Check also that you have the LEVEL_ID and all the other relevant and mandatory attributes and that they connect also to the floor transitions (stairs/elevators...). Hint: Verify the z-values within a 3D view once done 🙂

Hi, me again.. We have a special case, where a building is located on the patio (second floor) of another building. The two buildings are connected with stairs and elevators. Currently it is impossible to handle POI/Event editing, because: Using Field Maps -> the building on top of the other one cannot be selected. Its hidden when showing the second floor Using the Web Map and a (custom) JS Web Application, the Ground floor of the building underneath is showing through the second floor of the building on top. It is impossible to create a POI in the building on top. This is really a showstopper right now. If the floor filter would always act as it does in the Indoors Mobile App, we would most likely be able to solve our viewing and editing issues. Thank you.

There might be a workaround here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-indoors-questions/automatically-populating-values-using-arcgis/m-p/1458341#M780

Is there any news about this? It would be really great for us to display all the levels of the same vertical order through all the apps, and/or make the floor picker configurable.

For the moment no automated method here... connecting pathway vertices by hand 😕 in ArcGIS Pro (I cannot edit CAD/Revit data). That's why I'm asking... Wonder if I should create an idea/enhancement request for these situations.

Hi, I have a question about "best practices" for updating pathways and transitions. My campus contains several buildings connecting on different levels indoors (not leaving the buildings outside), either via doors, but also on open gangways and spaces. Two buildings are even connected via transitions (elevator/stairways). For now, I connect them manually (the prelim pathways do unfortunately not connect automatically between units/levels in different buildings), but now I wonder what happens if I have to update my floorplans and with that the pathways network. I guess my changes will be overwritten (for the selected levels) using the GP Tools (create/thin) and I will have to do the edits again? Or is there a way to keep the pathways connected between the buildings? Concerning edited stairs, I think I will have to uncheck "delete existing transitions" and then remove the new "duplicates" and check if the old ones still connect to the (prelim-)pathways? Or is there a way to keep the existing and NOT create new ones on the existing locations? Thanks very much for sharing your experience and grateful for any input 😉

Yes, please! Would be so useful to be able to reuse and even load into another environment (e.g. when passing from dev to prod...)

As Brian suggested, you can use editing templates and proceed level by level. But you need to check that you have your z-value adjusted as well. You might snap to the prelim pathway-features if you have any or give the correct default z-value for each level while editing. We are currently developing a Web App to edit POIs and Events. There you have some flexibility to automatically populate field values with Arcade.

Hi @Jinho_Kang it would be cool if the "Import BIM to Indoor Dataset" allowed to choose to keep the absolute elevation... see also: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-indoors-ideas/support-for-absolute-elevation/idi-p/1104896 Question: for the generated 3D Multipatch, or would that work to just add the absolute value (eg. "z.value+400") in the "absolute height" attribute-expression in the scene and it's ok to adjust the z-Value only for the "2D"- features and Network? Would the paths be shown at the correct height in the 3D scene if you do it that way?

A couple of months have passed, and I have another use case for the use of absolute elevation: In a hilly terrain, outdoor paths above might the enter the buildings e.g. on level 2, whereas paths below enter it on level 0, or even in the basement. Would you give the "outdoor"-pathways-vertices simply the relative elevations of the levels and "interpolate" the vertices in between? It would be much simpler to use absolute elevation and grab the z-values from the DTM... I know from other projects where they use absolute elevation, so it is possible, but the import tools should support it natively to avoid post-processing steps...

We would like to be able to customize Event informations across the different Indoors Applications (Viewer/Kioks, Mobile). It should be possible to make all the available fields from the feature class visible (long name, subtitle, end date and time), and eventually also add custom attributes (e.g. urls) See also the following post: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-indoors-questions/formatting-events/m-p/1316947#M538 Thanks for consideration
