Hi Aaron, Our project is rather special with many large open spaces and so on, so we will most probably continue to update our final pathways manually (if necessary), which is less time consuming than to reiterate the whole process... Absolutely! Overlapping levels between buildings definitely need to be addressed. Besides visualisation issues, it is impossible to add data (POI, beacon-placement...) with field maps on overlapping levels. We have the same issue here. our buildings are connected and imbricated differently on several floors, meaning there might be overlaps e.g. between a ground floor of one of the buildings and the basement floor of the connected one. I have considered editing the facility footprints, but this doesn't really solve the problem: - Every manual change in the data makes automated updates more complex (especially when working with BIM files). The BIM to Indoors Dataset-Tool does not "dissolve" and "erase holes" automatically. - Levels, units and details may be "outside" the footprint or building footprints still overlap when the bounding polygon of the facility includes all features What would be the best practice in this case? Just a suggestion: Create copy of the Pathways FC where you only keep your manually created features, if you use the generate pathways/thin pathways tools for your other floors. Otherwise they will be overwritten when you update your floor plans. This way you can append them manually afterwards to the final Pathways FC. Check also that you have the LEVEL_ID and all the other relevant and mandatory attributes and that they connect also to the floor transitions (stairs/elevators...). Hi, me again.. We have a special case, where a building is located on the patio (second floor) of another building. The two buildings are connected with stairs and elevators. Currently it is impossible to handle POI/Event editing, because: Using Field Maps -> the building on top of the other one cannot be selected. Its hidden when showing the second floor Using the Web Map and a (custom) JS Web Application, the Ground floor of the building underneath is showing through the second floor of the building on top. It is impossible to create a POI in the building on top. This is really a showstopper right now. If the floor filter would always act as it does in the Indoors Mobile App, we would most likely be able to solve our viewing and editing issues. Thank you. ... View more
