That's good to know! Thanks for responding. I haven't been able to find other mentions of this specific problem, so it's good to hear I'm not alone. I'll check out the bug. Thanks again.

I have created a number of ArcGIS Dashboards (Beta) which contain embedded Survey123 forms to provide an easy way for non-GIS users in our organization to manage data collected by those surveys. Seemingly out of nowhere, none of the Survey123 forms are allowing users with the correct credentials to edit the data. Based on what I have been able to deduce (which might be incorrect, but...) it seems that the Survey123 form is no longer recognizing the credentials that the editors are using to access the Dashboard. Has something changed recently (in the past few weeks/month) in either Survey123, ArcGIS Dashboards (Beta) or web browsers in general which would block the passing of the login credentials necessary to access the Dashboard to the embedded Survey123 form? Or, if that's not the case, does anyone have an idea of what I could do to troubleshoot the situation? Thanks so much for any ideas or suggestions!

Hi Zheng Liu - thanks for the update and tip! I just tested the survey using the ?version=latest method you mentioned, and it seemed to fix the problem I was having. I just rolled the survey to 3.10 and it seems to be working just fine. Thanks so much again! Shane

Hi James, Thanks for your response! I am not one of the people at UNH who can create a ticket on their own. If you could create one for me, that would be great. However, I could always reach out to the few people at UNH who can create a ticket if need be. Thanks again, Shane

This is how the grid looks when the survey is first loaded: If I slightly adjust the size of the browser window once the survey is loaded, it changes and looks closer to normal: Here is how the grid looks in the web designer (and how it looked in the pervious published survey):

Got it. As I mentioned above, that would make sense as the source of the problem (it is one of the changes we made in the survey). Thanks again for keeping me up-to-date!

Got it! That makes sense as the source of the problem. One of the changes we made in the new version of the survey was to add the first question, which caused a the dual-relevant-question situation. If it would be helpful, a bug report would be fine. However, just the fact that someone is working on it is good enough for me!

I have other active surveys with grid questions that don't have this problem and a new demo survey I created and published today was also normal. It seems to be in just this one survey, which is VERY strange to me. We didn't do anything behind the scenes, just used the web designer. Until this latest publishing update, the grid questions looked completely normal. Thanks so much again! Shane

It looks OK in the web designer, although when I preview the survey it looks scrunched. I published the survey anyway because I though it was a glitch in the preview function. I guess not! The "scrunchiness" varies based on the size of the screen you are using. It actually looks worse when it loads on a wider screen (13 inch laptop) then on a tablet. Also, if you have it loads on my laptop screen, and I reduce the size of the browser window (by moving the edge) then increase it again, the grid questions shift to looking less strange than they did (although not quite 100% normal).

Hi Kylie Donia - thanks SO MUCH for being wiling to look into this! There are five grid questions that all have the same problem in the survey. To see them, you have answer other questions in a certain way: In FOOD ACCESS | How are you increasing food access? > choose We offer food FREE OF CHARGE After that, choosing YES to any of the questions show below will reveal one of the grids: DONATION | Can FOOD be donated here? DONATION | Can NON-FOOD items be donated here? PICK UP | Can FOOD be picked up here at no cost? PICK UP | Can NON-FOOD items be picked up here at no cost? PROVIDED for DELIVERY | details Thanks again! Shane

I recently updated and republished a Survey123 form (https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/20b0e78a2e6647439298981b57afeaf0) which had been functioning perfectly for nearly two months. (in case it matters, the survey was created with the web designer) All of the new questions and content seemed to be updated without a problem, but for some strange reason, the grid questions are now scrunched up (see image below). All of the grid questions are displaying in this way. These questions were already in the survey before the new version was published and were not edited in any way during the update process. Does anyone have an idea what happened, and most importantly, what can be done to fix it? This survey has been live since March 25th gathering data, so doing a Save As and republish is not a great option (and I've already tried that, the error is still present in the copy). Thanks for any advice / potential solutions! Shane

Thanks for checking it out and responding Mia Massicotte! I finally decided it was too important to ignore, so I wound up figuring out a work around to put a splash screen on my Story Map (if you care about how, I'd be happy to bore you with the details...). I feel better now knowing that I have provided a bit of guidance and warning. I know how frustrating (and panic-inducing) it was for me to realize that I had no way to click on the points on my phone. I haven't run into any pop up issues on my Mac, but I sure seem to have issues with setting Zoom levels from time to time. Shane

Quick update: If I tap twice in quick succession, the pop up often (although not always) appears as it should (~85% of the time). This action also causes the map to Zoom in, which is not ideal.

I'm having trouble with a Classic Esri Story Maps - pop ups don't work on iOS devices (see https://arcg.is/19CLzG) The pop ups work just fine with a desktop browser, but when I try to click on a point on the map on my iPhone and iPad (each running current the OS), the pop ups rarely appear. Instead, I click away over and over again, nearly always to no effect. I tried increasing the size of the icons, which didn't solve the problem. I also tried viewing the Story Map on Firefox on both devices, and the pop ups didn't work there either. I tried the ArcGIS Online map itself and the pop ups work just fine on both devices. I also tried embedding the map in a dashboard, then viewing it on the same devices - the pop ups work there too. Any ideas about what is happening and how to fix it? Or is this a known problem with the Classic Story Maps on iOS devices? Thanks so much, Shane Bradt UNH Cooperative Extension
