This bug is related to BUG-000098492 - Default date and time values do not auto-populate when using repeats in Survey123 for ArcGIS. I have discovered that a variation of the bug mentioned above (fixed with Ensiheim-meteorite-strike-day-release-19 release) is still present. The following workflow reproduces the bug: Add an integer field (used in the repeat's relevant expression) Add a date field and a time field outside of a repeat. Default them to today() and now() respectively Add two similar fields inside a repeat. Default them to today() and now() Add a relevant expression to the repeat (integer field = 1 for example) Execute the survey: Only the date and time fields in the main survey get’s defaulted as expected Date and time fields inside the "related" repeat does not get defaulted when the relevant expression is true (when 1 is entered into the integer field)

Posting on behalf of a client: We have been implementing the newer version of the ArcGIS Runtime SDK 100.1.1 as a test. The map is working perfectly expect that the application is more than 11 times bigger than with the previous SDK. Here is the current comparison between the applications (Telematics Lite) using the old and new framework: Both apps are ‘Telematics Lite’ and there is no difference between them except for the upgraded SDK. The one at the bottom of the list is about 26MB newly installed, that means it currently has 8 MB of app data. The one on the top of the list is newly installed and is using version 100.1.1 of the framework. Can anyone shed some light on why the application is so much larger with the new SDK? And how we can shrink the size of the application?

Hi Finnian I've added your request! Please test it out and let me know. I can only test on Android for now but would be good if you can test on iOS as well.

Publishing the attached survey to a clean, newly installed Portal 10.6 server gives the following error: The problem seems to lie with changing a select_one field's data type to esriFieldTypeInteger even though the select_one points to integer choice values: If I don't change the data type or change it to esriFieldTypeString then the publishing error doesn't occur. The publishing error also does not occur when publishing to AGOL. Your help will be appreciated.

Do you want to create a break-out link from your survey to Twitter, WhatsApp, eMail etc? Here are a few examples of how the HTML tags should look like to achieve this (just substitute your fields into the examples and paste it into a survey note field): Open the device's default mapping application (such as Google Maps) with the coordinates of the survey: concat('<a href="geo:', ${Lat}, ',' , ${Long}, concat('">Display on the Map</a>')) Open Google Maps with driving directions to coordinates: concat('<a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=', ${Lat}, ',' , ${Long}, concat('&ll=">Directions</a>')) Open the device's default email application with a to email address: concat('<a href="mailto:', ${Email},concat('">', ${Email})) Create a Tweet from your survey: concat('<a href="https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?text=This tweet sent from Survey123! #ArcGIS','">Create a Tweet</a>') Create a WhatsApp message from your survey: concat('<a href="whatsapp://send?text=This is a WhatsApp message from Survey123!">Create a Whatsapp message</a>') Open Collector with a specific web map: ${Collector_Intent} = concat('arcgis-collector://?itemID=68085fc05c401ca5716e5677a6128c') concat('<a href="',${Collector_Intent},'">Open Collector</a>') (first create a calculated field named Collector_Intent and then use that field in the second calculated field) Open a specific survey (with parameters) from Survey123: ${S123_Intent} = concat('arcgis-survey123://?itemID=887d507cee48d18ad3cdfaf9f081e6&field:Service_Rating=1') concat('<a href="',${S123_Intent},'">Open specific survey</a>') (first create a calculated field named S123_Intent and then use that field in the second calculated field) Open an SMS (with the coordinates in the body) from Survey123 (this works in Android - not tested on iOS): concat('<a href="sms:','08212345678','?body=', ${Lat}, ',' , ${Long}, concat('">SMS</a>')) (to get the coordinates - just use the pulldata() function) Open a local file (such as a PDF help file or an image located in your survey's media folder) from Survey123 - this works and has been tested on Android: concat('<a href="file:///storage/emulated/0/ArcGIS/My Surveys/549c05bae0f14e388000486ce4de950c/esriinfo/media/Example.pdf" class="link external button button-raised button-fill color-blue">Demo</a>') (549c05bae0f14e388000486ce4de950c will be different for each survey. It refers to the survey item id) I will add more examples as the need arises

Hi Christopher Your requirement sound like related tables would work better for you... Is there a reason why you are not using Collector for this solution? Collector would allow you to capture the main turtle nest details such as date laid, location, comment etc... you could then have a related table where you could store incubation events which is "added" to the main record. Just my 2c worth 🙂 If you want to look at an example of how to set up Related Tables with Collector you can look at my blog: Three Steps to Asset Management with ArcGIS Online and Collector – Esri South Africa Blog Regards,

I have in quite a few of my surveys seen the need to have a question label that renders completely empty without taking up a space on the survey layout - usually a note field where my calculation already has dynamic headers etc. I usually just put </> to make the "compiler" happy but that still creates an empty line on the survey layout. Is there any way to stop that empty line from appearing on the survey?

I have a client that has a publicly shared survey through their Portal installation. I can open and successfully submit the survey through the Survey123 website. Downloading the survey to a Survey123 client and trying to send a completed survey causes the device to be stuck on the 'Getting Service Information' dialog. Looking at the diagnostics log file i see the following: <12>1 2018-03-13T11:22:30Z dlengton Survey123forArcGIS 13532 - [AppStudio@11205 category="default" filename="XFormFeatureService.qml" line="876"] qrc:/qml/XForms/XFormFeatureService.qml:876: TypeError: Cannot read property 'name' of undefined Any ideas? Is it a field that has a null value but isnt allowed to have one? I'm a bit stumped... any information will be highly appreciated!

Hi Joe I think in the end it just boils down to the risk value that you are calculating. So the bigger question is how will you calculate the risk value in such a multilevel relevant scenario. The implementation of the risk bar should roughly stay the same although your denominator might change and affect the maximum value - that should all still be do-able

I can successfully retrieve the Device ID on an Android device and it gets recorded as: a4d32b532a8c487ab95c8142df15 However, when i look on the Android device under Settings / About Phone / IMEI etc I dont see that number anywhere. Is it perhaps reported in a different format and I need to convert it to a normal numeric IMEI number? If i look in the QT code i see this: AF.AppFramework.createUuidString(2);
Which looks like this is not an IMEI number but a generated UUID?
