Hi Telmo The functionality to "View and add image attachments for existing features (via the inbox)" is now available in the Early Adopter program of Survey123: Early Adopter "One of the most requested features for the Survey123 field app is the ability to view and edit (add, update, and delete) feature attachments via the inbox. This feature requires a significant development effort and we have started a phased approach towards full support. The initial phase will be limited to viewing and adding image attachments only (excluding signature appearance), and is now available for testing in the latest 3.13 beta builds. Currently in this phase only online workflows are supported for viewing existing images . It is not possible to download and view existing images for offline use, however new images can still be added when offline. Future phases will expand the functionality to include updating and deleting image attachments, and then move on to supporting other Survey123 attachment types (file, image with signature appearance, and audio), as well as offline workflows."

Hi Johnny I have done this in the past. You can create an HTML link in your survey to the document in question. Have a look at my blog about HTML links in Survey123: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/html-links-for-survey123-to-just-about-anything/ba-p/894670 Basically you follow these steps: 1) Add the PDF or Excel file to your AGOL by going to Content / New Item / Choose to add the file from 'Your Device' or simply drag and drop the file into the area shown: Once you have created the item you will be taken to it's item page. From there you probably want to share the file publicly to avoid any sharing issues (unless it is sensitive information). Once shared, you can copy the link to the file by scrolling down on the Overview page of the item and copying it's URL: In Survey123 you can now reference the file with an HTML link by using a calculation on a NOTE field: concat('<a href="file:https://esriza.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/58bf71eb534741429c03a0f052e0f7fa/data" class="link external button button-raised button-fill color-blue">Open PDF</a>') I attached the XLSX file for your reference to this post... I hope this helps!

Hi What you can do is to use the Linked Content to link your survey to a hosted CSV file as Josh mentions. The first step would be to create the CSV file then upload it to AGOL as an item. Then you can link this CSV file to a published survey and use "select_one_from_file filename.csv". Whenever your survey opens up it will do a check to see if the CSV file on AGOL is newer than the one on the device, if it is it will download the file to your device for offline use.

Hi Alexandra I think you might be using the label (Potent Eligible & Contributing) of your TypeColl_ choice instead of the name. In your choices tab in Excel - check to make sure that in your relevant expression you are using ${TypeColl_}= '<the name of your choice>'.

Hi @Anonymous User If you still struggle then you could have the user enable diagnostics on the tablet and have them send you the log file - it should cast more light on the erroneous field causing the sync issue. Regards Deon

Hi Philip All of a sudden I am also struck with this forminfo.json error. I checked on Connect and the file is not even created in the survey source folder at all. I copied the same survey to another one and still same issue. Any ideas? I am on the latest Connect. If I manually create the forminfo.json file everything seems to be working fine

Hi @IsmaelChivite >If using a public survey, you do not need to worry about the token at all, so you do not need to add the >portalInfo group into the payload, or add the token as a query to the HTTP module. Regarding the comment above. Would it not be possible to expose the token that the Survey123 Connector is using when it performs the GetOwnedSurveyList operation? In our case we need to create a Feature Report from the submitted survey but obviously that requires a token... We have worked around it for now by doing a GenerateToken call but it seems to be double work if the Survey123 connector already has a valid token? Would love to hear your inputs on the matter...

Hi I would suggest testing the href path in a browser on your device. Once that works then just paste the path into the href url - its always tricky to find the exact location and slashes to get to those files on local storage. Maybe this article will help: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/50111170/android-url-scheme-to-open-file-from-browser-link I saw someone make the following suggestion: "How can one determine the local path easily? Open a locally stored image with the default image viewer, select image details in the context menu. This will include the absolute path on your given system." Hope that helps! Regards

Step 1 - Publish a new survey to AGOL Step 2 - Capture some test data and view it in the Analysis tab - everything looks fine Step 3 - Share the survey's results with the organization ERROR for some fields - Cannot get answers for this question. Details: unable to find the field in related feature service. I know that a view is created from the Feature Service and it seems that this view is having issues because before the view is created the Analysis tab shows the data correctly but after the view is created (when sharing the results of the survey) then some fields give the above error. Between publishing the first time and the view being created there have been no change to the published service. Can you assist please @ZhifangWang

Does Survey123 still honor the "minimal compact" appearance for repeats to stop it from creating a blank record? I have a survey with that exact setup but Survey123 still creates a blank record: The "Progress for Week" repeat is inside the "Financial Year" repeat. But its appearance is minimal compact. Even without clicking on the + for Progress for Week a record still gets created in the database:
