In order to make a line graph in the dashboard showing the cumulative number of corona cases, I need to create a hidden field in my Survey which automatically counts the numers of records. Is there a way of doing this? My idea was to create a hidden field "def1" which has a default value of 1. I  am trying to put a survey123 app and a dashboard together for the corona crisis. I want to use the survey123 to produce a webinterface to record indicents and the dashboard to present the data in real time. I have created a simple form with data regarding type of record, location etc but now I want to create statistics so that I can present total number of cases, total number of case according to city, number according to type, age, gender etc. Can I do this in the survey123 excel sheet, or do i need to use another trick? ... I need to create a dashboard to help my emergency services with the impact of the corona virus. My ArcGIS Server is inside my firewall, and we are using a different network to administrate ArcGIS Online, so I have no direct contact. I have just ArcGIS Desktop or Pro and ArcGIS Online, Excel, FME. I want to keep the data as simple as possible. I would like to have one or two shapefiles uploaded and published as Features in AGOnline and maybe some tables to join them to.  I also want to be able to create views from the Data so I can serve the Dashboard widgets with data. I would like to have just one Table for all my editing and then using grouping and statistical summaries feed the widgets with data. The main problem at the moment is being able to easily update my table. I seem to always have to upload new datasets everytime I need to refresh the data. This is totally inadaquate as many of the people who will be updating this data are not GIS Professionals. They need a simple system to just enter numbers, dates and addresses, and the data should not have to be uploaded and configured 10 times a day. I need, charts, lists, maps and statistics to show in the dashboard, but most importantly I need people to enter new data all the time. How can I do this? ... View more

Is is possible to publish a password protected WMS service using ArcGIS Server 10.5.1? My windows server 2012 system uses LDAP for its internal user accounts. I want to publish WMS Services which are password protected due to lizenzing restrictions attatched to the data. What possibilities do I have to implement this? ... View more

Last night our ArcGIS Server Advanced License 10.5.1 and Image-Extention 10.5.1 ran out. I have new codes, but the names of the products seem to have changed again! There is no ArcGIS Server Advanced any more only basic and standard in my license overview on MyEsri. The Image Server extention doesn't exist in the version 10.5.1 anymore, just as 10.6.1 or 10.7.1. So my question is...Which Server version should I now install? ArcGIS GIS Server Basic, ArcGIS GIS Server Standard or ArcGIS GIS Server Standard workgroup? And is the Image-Server Extention version 10.6 or 10.7 compatible with ArcGIS Server 10.5.1. ... View more

When I reproject a raster image using ArcGSi 10.6. ArcToolbox ArcGIS always suggests and loads a specific transformation method which is not the one I want to use. Why does ArcGIS autosuggest and load a specific method and how can I stop it? ... View more

I always get the following error codes 000622 und 000584 when reprojecting Rasters. I am projecting from DHDN to EPSG:25832. My source raster has a defined CRS and the target raster is also correctly named. I have checked that there are write permissions in the target directory and that there is sufficient space on the hard drive. Curiously, the environment variable "output coordinates" always includes "NAD_1927_to_NAD_1983_NADCON". When I remove this parameter and either leave it empty or define the correct output coordinates, the Tool ingores my variable and inlcudes "NAD_1927" again. using ArcGIS Desktop Advanced 10.6 I have created a colorized las file. In ArcScene 10.6 I can visualize the las file using the "LAS attribute grouped with unique symbol" renderer option and then use the "color RGB" Las Attribute to display the RGB colours. The "Color RGB" renderer option is however not listed in ArcGIS Desktop symbology dialog. Is there a reason for this or is this a bug? ... View more

I have ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 and ArcGIS for server 10.3.1 installed on different windows machines. I was told by my software provider, that I can publish all services although the versions are different. This is true for the most part, but I cannot publish a 10.5.1 images service from a mosaic dataset. The error windows shows a generic error, but the log files indicate the path in invalid. The path is however OK as I have checked it out from a Rastercatalog using the same data. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Is 10.5.1 not able to publish imageservices from mosaics? I have published single rasters as an images service, so why not mosaics? ... View more

I have ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 running on windows and am trying to publish an image service from ArcGIS Desktop 10.5.1 The mosaic looks good and checks out when I analyse. But when I publish the image service, I get this error Can´t publish mosaic: error Invalid path My log file tells me that the path in invalid. This is however not the case. Is ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 not able to publish an image service from 10.5.1 desktop? or is there another problem here? ... View more
