Would the fastest option be to create the mosaic dataset in my sde and store the overviews there as well and have it reference the images from an UNC Path on the network?

I have a filegeodatabase which holds my raster mosaics. Each Mosaic references about 500 tiff images. When I try to open the properties or eve just load the mosaic dataset into ArcMap it takes about 1 minute of waiting time which is a terrible user experience and very frustrating. Why is this and is there a solution?

Hi...i have just had this problem with a single service which couldn't be started or deleted and only gave the following error message - "A JSONObject text must begin with '{' at character 1 of" After reading the threads I decided to delete the lifecycleinfos.json file (which by the way was only filled with NULLNULLNULL) and also all of the lockfiles. Afterwards I was able to delete and republish the serice. Hope this helps someone.

I have placed a guide in an arcgis online dashboard with an upper and lower limit and would like to display the label for this critical area left center. In the Dashboard settings I only have the option to place the label either outside or inside of the diagram and left or right. The height of the label within the Dashboard is fixed at a around 80% of the way up. I have seen other dashboards where the label for these area between the upper and lower limits is centred. How do achieve this?

I have an ImageService which delivers aerial photos. Every single morning the service is running but delivers no image. The log files show the following: "Unable to process request. Error handling service request :In den konfigurierten Clustern konnte kein Service mit dem Namen 'Geobasisdaten/ImageServer/Luftbilder_2018' gefunden werden" (English) - In the configured Cluster, no service with the name 'Geobasisdaten/ImageServer/Luftbilder_2018' could be found. All I have to do is restart the service and it will deliver images until the next morning. Occasionally I observe other image services having the same problem, but most often it affects the above named service. Could anyone shed some light on why this is happening and how to resolve the issue?

Most dashboards include at least one metric within an indicator widget. It would be incredibly useful to be able to use this value as a variable for use in other indicators. In my use case I have a Covid-19 Dashboard which displays 4 indicators. Total confirmed cases, total recovered cases, total deaths, current number of infections. In order to display these values, I had to use a number of methods including filters and also writing a value as text. If I could have simply referenced the first two indicator values, I could have subtracted the total recovered cases from the total confirmed cases (minus deaths) to get the number of current infections.

I know there is a configuration somewhere to allow me to edit feature classes in an sde database which is a data source for Feature Services. At the moment I cannot edit any of the feature classes in my dataset because a list of "Locks" are shown when starting the editing. But a few years ago when I set up my other SDE Databases, I was able to overide this resistriction. I have ArcGIS Server 10.5 on Windows Server 2012 and Desktop 10.7 on Windows 10. Would anyone know what I have to do?

I am trying to figure out how to directly connect an enterprise database featureclass to AGOL without having it hosted online. It seems that however I do it, AGOL uploads the data and hosts it online. I want to keep the data in my Enterprise database in my organisation so I can update the data in my office, but allow agol popups and editing through hosted webmaps. Can anyone tell me how this is done? I have tried so many different ways that I have lost count of how many days I have wasted trying to figure it out.
