Hi, The Imaging extension is installed. We have been publishing image services with 10.3.1 for a couple of years now. The problem appears to be with the compatibility between 10.3.1 and 10.6 when reading mosaic datasets.

According to the docs, there should be no problem using ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 with arcgis Desktop 10.6. (https://community.esri.com/thread/196312-different-versions-of-server-and-desktop ) However, I recently added a few rasters with 10.6 to an old Raster mosaic which was created with 10.3.1. This Mosaic cannot be published now. - no errors, just "cannot read dataset". So what do I do now? Thanks for any help.

I was hoping to do this without python as I have little experience with it. Is there no other option using tools?

I have a series of perpendicular line along an embankment. I need to determine the highest point along these perpendicular line. Each perpendicular line has a unique ID so that I can theoretically determine the highest point along each 3d line and join them to create a ridge. My first problem is how to determine and extract the highest vertex of each 3D line and convert to point.

I have a DEM of a basin and am assuming that the basin is water tight. I need to calculate the water level when a certain volume of water is released into the basin. I have ArcGIS Advanced with spatial analyst and 3d Analyst. Has anyone the correct methodology for such an analysis?

I have the opportunity to use lidar data to produce an inundation model for an area of wetland. I have looked at various scenarios but none really fit my purpose thus I am asking here. The scenario is, that my area of wetland is permanently water logged at a certain height above sea level e.g 80 meters. Surrounding the wetland area are a number of man-made drainage channels which have been dug out by neighbouring farmers. My Job is to create inundation models to estimate the extent of inundation if one or all of these drainage channels were filled in. I will not be taking into account soil drainage or precipitation or evaporation etc. I have lidar data with 0.5m resolution. My initial thoughts were to : 1. use the ArcGIS "FILL" tool to fill in the imperfections of the DEM (this seems to be the standard first step) 2. Calculate the volume of water in the basin including the drainage channels at a certain height. 3. Close the drainage channels and recreate the dem. 4. Refill the basin by the amount calculated in the last step and see where the water goes. ( not sure which tools or process could do this accurately) In effect, what I am doing is creating a dam...the only difference is, that I have a constant volume of water in the basin before the dam in built. If my line of thinking is totally wrong, I would be grateful for some input, or tips on how to achieve a reasonable result.

I configured SSL on ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 a couple of weeks ago due to another application. I thought everything was working ok but later I realised that I couldn´t log in to ArcGIS server manager anymore, and my WMS Services were not working. I would now like to disable SSL but cannot configure it. When I try to delete my SSL certificate I get the error code 500 - Standard certificate annot be deleted. I have disables SSL on IIS, but this doesn´t help. Can anyone advise me on what to do?

I am currently working on a small project which entails creating some flood senarios using newly current lidar data. However I have an issue with lidar data. The Lidar data which we have received contains reflections on the water surface so called specular reflections ( see attatchment beneath) which cause the water surface to have elevations where there are nearby trees and vegetation. In order to create a flood senario, we will therefore not be able to use the current water surfaces in the lidar data. How then will we be able to create flooding estimates in the water surface height is not reliable? Does anyone have any information regarding how to "clean" these types of distortions? Or would my model somehow disregard the water surface anyway?

I have configured a search in an ArcGIS online app which finds results out of a field. After entering a string in the search box "suggestions" are listed underneath. Annoyingly though, when I click on one suggestion, a second window opens showing the path to an Image which is contained in another field in the table. This path is not used in the search and is only used in the maptip to show an image. Can anyone tell me why this appears and how to disable it?

I have created a very simple webapp with ArcGIS Online and am testing it with various browsers (Chrome, Firefox and IE 11). I am running Windows 7 and Windows 8. On both systems my Application will not load in Internet Explorer v11. I cannot zoom, pan, and no layers are loaded. Eventually I get a message about a run time error and having to end the script. The App https://lk-heidekreis.maps.arcgis.com/apps/View/index.html?appid=de4b0d86e96a49a2a365213284ad09e0 Are ArcGIS Online Apps incompatible with IE?

I have a WMS layer served with ArcGIS for Server 10.3.1. I would like to embed this layer in an ArcGIS Online App and use a Pop-Up to show information about the points. As one of the fields contains URLs to Images as field values, I would also like these images to either be linked via "href=" or even better shown as a thumbnail miniature in the Pop-Up and when clicked upon opened in a separate browser tab. I am having the following problem: I have a valid WMS layer which is displayed in ArcGIS Online without a problem. But in order to get the pop-up windows working I had to create a custom XSL Template. I can however see no way to define to ArcGIS Online that this is the only layer that needs the custom template. It only works when I rename the custom template to the standard wms GetFeatureInfo template. This means however, that every other wms GetFeatureInfo will not work with it. And all other WMS layers will have no Pop-Up windows. Does anyone know how I can tell ArcGIS Online to use the custom template with the WMS Layer? Is there maybe another way? I cannot use WFS because ArcGIS for Server throws an error when I try to link an external GetCapabilities Document to the service definition, and I cannot use the rest interface as my rest services are not accessible over the internet.

I am having problems trying to find out how to configure a wms layer which can offer a photo in a popup window. I am using arcgis for server 10.3.1 enterprise and have included the path in the attribute table of the wms layer. In ArcGIS Online I am not able to configure the attribute table and the path to the photo is shown as text. There must be a way to do this very simple operation!!
