I have also had this problem, however I feel that it may have been resolved after the last update as I have not seen it since I installed it. (A side note; the connect app doesn't automatically update, and doesn't appear to notify you when a new version is available. The iOS app does, but you need to manually install the new connect version... I couldn't figure out why I was stuck on version 1.8!!) ... View more

Are there any plans to expand the functionality of the web builder for Survey123? I have a project that needs a public survey embedded into a website, rather than using the application. My experience so far is that surveys built using the website work great, but don't have enough functionality for what I need (groups, repeats, ability to define attribute names or point to an existing feature service), likewise any survey that i have built using Survey123 Connect doesn't seem to work as well in the "web" mode as it does in the app. I will keep going and see what I can come up with. I would suggest that it is because you don't have permission to share to "Everyone (Public)" as this is a mistake I have made today myself (I also have access to the Admin account so I was able to sort it out very quickly) ... View more

I have a similar question, although we are interested in being able to do a backup of the survey data for teams that are in the field without cellular data connectivity for long periods of time (common in Australia!). I will look into this further and see if the process for recovering data from the mobile device could be followed to make backups. ... View more

Thanks for your help on this one too Zoltan, again, some kind of backup to external media would be handy functionality. Our main concern is the tablet getting destroyed due to sever environmental conditions that we experience in the Australian outback (heat, dust, rain) or that the tablet is severely damaged or lost without backup. if we could set up a simple script that a user could run to back up the data at the end of the day (assuming they are unable to connect to cellular data) then that could be a good solution until (if!) a native external offline backup option becomes available. ...
