Hi @AlixVezina, Disregard my previous question. I was using a feature layer created from "new item" in ArcGIS Online and it did not work. But it does work with a nonspatial table in a filegeodatabase uploaded to ArcGIS Online which makes sense. JB

Hi @AlixVezina, I tried your example of table widget with edit widget and there is no plus sign at the upper right in the edit widget to add a record. Can you be more specific about what you did there? Thanks! JB

Hi there - I am trying to migrate a WAB app with Near Me widget. In EXB I can get near me to work partially - I provide a location and it zooms to the point and displays attributes from a polygon at that location and selects the polygon. However, I need it to zoom to the extent of the selected polygon, not the location point. That is how it works in WAB - any pointers on how to accomplish that in EXB? Thanks!! JB

Beyond the mission critical use case, there is a broad generic data management use case: a very common workflow is to georef a small raster image that is a chart or plat of an area, and then go into the field with field maps and verify / capture what's on the ground, using the small georef image as a reference. ArcGIS Image for online is a bit a big solution to get a 400kb raster image into a map - plus it does not include quick end-user media layer georef.

Unfortunately, this is does not work very well. The popup frequently comes up partially off the side of the screen, and looks very odd, especially since the popup is stylistically similar to the main zone information panel. What users want is to click on zone and see zone information in the same panel. Then click on an adjacent zone (without having to click the clear button), the first zone unhilights, the new zone highlights and map zooms to the extent of this new zone, and zone information panel shows information for the newly selected zone. Are there any workarounds to make this work?

Add custom CSS option for Experience Builder online, similar to custom CSS feature in ArcGIS Online site builder. Often there are little things we need to tweak (mostly hide), and going to developer and creating, deploying, and managing custom EXB apps and widgets just to make a very small cosmetic change is not feasible.

add widget setting to remove . hide "settings" from editor widget. Imagine a focused EXB app for a user who is not a trained GIS professional. If the settings on the settings dropdown on the editor widget are not needed by the end user scenario, then having the settings drop down there just takes up space and makes app look more confusing and cryptic to the end user.

add settings to edit widget to control title and advanced settings, and other text. Imaging a focued EXB app where the user is not a trained GIS expert, but rather a worker in another field not familiar with GIS terms. In this case it would be great to make the edit widget more contextually and cosmetically easy for this user to understand: - instead of title label saying "Editor" or "Edit Feature" it would be great if there were configurable labels in editor widget settings for so we could make it understandable for the end user, as "Add Tree Location to Map".

Add action to select, filter, and/or zoom to feature in another layer. For example, imagine outside of experience builder app a survey123 with simple "report issue" with feature. Using popups and survey123 url params, a user clicks on a feature in a map layer, gets a survey to report an issue, and the survey also records the objectID of the feature the user clicked on. Then in EXB imagine a grid showing all of the survery123 responses. The user wants to click on a survey record in the grid, and have the map select and zoom to the feature in a different feature layer based on object ID, and not to zoom to the location of the survey feature, which might be on null island.

Add action to show or hide another widget. For example, if user shows or hides a layer from layer list, then hide or show a specific filter widget on another part of the layout.

I have a table widget showing attributes of a hosted feature layer called layer_1. One of the fields in layer_1 is called layer_2_oid. When I click on a row in the layer_1 table, I would like the map to zoom to the feature in layer_2 based on objectid. On the table widget for layer_1, I can set action/triggers to select and/or filter layer_2 based on objectID no problem, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the map to zoom to the selected and/or filtered feature in layer_2. That is not one of action/trigger options for the layer_1 table widget. Any ideas? Thanks! JB

I am having the same problem where my EXB apps sporadically load very slowly. Sometimes the app will load right away, and sometimes widgets spin for a long time before loading with data. Sometimes but not always refreshing the page helps. Any ideas?

It seems that if I chance the locator name to something user friendly like "Address Search" then coordinate searches do not work, but address and place name searches still work. If I change the locator name back to "ArcGIS World Geocoding Service", then both coordinate searches and address/place name searches work. The reason for changing the name of the locator is so that the locator name that appears in the drop down section of the search box is less cryptic for non-GIS users.

I am having challenges accomplishing zone lookups using lat/long coordinates. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work. Creating a zone lookup with default settings and default locator, it seems to work. But as I add additional layers and configurations in addition to arcgis world geocoder service, coordinate searches like "-93.60911 41.60054" stop working, even though street addresses and commonplace searches still work. I have not been able to pin down exactly what settings cause coordinate searches to not work. Are there any known issues with coordinate searches, and/or any specific configurations or workarounds to make those work? Thanks! JB

Zone lookup selects the zone and displays it, but is also filtering the zone layer - turning off all other zones in the map. A common workflow for a user is to pan and zoom around the map, and then click on the map to see zone information at that location. Often when the user clicks on a spot and the map zooms to the extent of the zone at that location and highlights it and displays the zone info, the user wants to then click somewhere else, such as right outside the highlighted zone to see the adjacent zone information. As near as I can see, currently the user can't do that as the first zone selection filters the zone layer so no other zones appear in the map, i.e., there are no other zones to click on. The user has to click the clear search location button first in order to be able to then click on a different zone. While that is easy enough to do, feedback I am getting is that the extra step and click is not intuitive for the user, especially non-GIS professional users. I want to use zone lookup for a community of 20,000+ non-GIS users, so want to make it as simple as possible. Is it possible to configure zone lookup to accomplish this? Thanks! JB
