Hi there - I am trying to get Floor Plan Editor running in ArcGIS Online.

I've tried creating a web map from the ArcGIS Pro indoors sample data, dataset template, and also create indoors dataset tool following all the docs.  These all result in a web map with proper layers and attributes for indoors, and the floor filter works in the web map.

When trying to create the floor plan editor app in ArcGIS Online when I select the web map I get the following message and can't get any further:

Units and Details are required. Make sure all required layers are included in your web map prior to creating the app from this template. See the ArcGIS Indoors documentation for more information.

But those layers are present in my web map, and floor filtering is working properly in the web map.  An tips to get farther?

Thanks!
JB

Hi @johnbrosowsky, thanks for including a crucial information about using the 'Create Indoor Dataset'. You need to use the 'Create Indoor Database' tool. In your case, you could run the Upgrade Indoors Database tool if you like. It is mentioned in the Prepare a map for Floor Plan Editor help topic.

Hello @johnbrosowsky, please check if steps described in this documentation topic were carried out, especially step 7. You inspect these in the Settings tab of the Feature layer in the My Contents tab in ArcGIS Online.

Hi @GauravJobanputra  - Thanks for the tips: I have tried it 10 times now following those instructions, and I still get the same problem:

I am using ArcGIS Pro 3.3.1, and "Create Indoors Dataset", and then following the instructions at the link above.

One inconsistency in the instructions is that step 13 says "Leave the Enable Sync checkbox unchecked." but I can't "leave it unchecked" because it is checked, presumable because of step 7.   I have tried checking it and unchecking it in ArcGIS Online and get the same problem.

Do you think my floor filtering settings in the web map look right?

Also step 2 of the instructions has a problem - it contains a link to verify if the map is floor aware that describe how to do that in web map viewer in ArcGIS Online, but by Step 2 of the instructions, you have not yet shared the web map to ArcGIS Online and are still in Pro.
