Hmm, his closing comment is telling: "... The database created from the massive influx of information will need to have a common coordinate system; and time, the fourth dimension, must be an integral part of the database. " A worldwide coordinate system, sounds like he'd like to hold things in a GCS. Doing mm precision for reprojection--no problem--loading real world data at that precision, hmm. Could have alignment issues

Listing of the Microsoft Installer command line parameters for ArcGIS Pro are in this help article... Install options—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop the silent uninstall product codes are listed there as well. So, as with Desktop--look to be able to script to modify registry to convert between Single use, Named User, and Concurrent use. Stuart

sjeffrey The clip you show is for ArcGIS Adminstrator not the ArcGIS License Server Administrator. Just stop the license server, return any licenses to your my.esri account and uninstall License Manager--it is _not_ necessary with the 1yr Education seat for ArcGIS for Desktop. And then as Jayanta suggests, uninstall the 10.2 builds of the extensions--and if needed install the 10.3.1 build of Data Interoperability and Background Geoprocessing. Uninstalling the License Server should clear the LF01 error. Stuart

Do you know why the most recent version (10.4.0.24) is dated later than version 10.4.0.3? Hmm, it is not. 10.4.0.24 was built/posted 2016-12-27, 10.4.0.3 was built/posted 2016-06-02--simply that the sort order on the web page is *not* by date. Rather it is an ASCII sort of the folder name--last column is the version and 24 comes before 3.

Current 10.4 builds, 10.4.0.24 (2016-12-27) from the Web server runs fine on ArcGIS for Desktop 10.4.1 The 10.5 (10.5.0.8) , and ArcGIS Pro builds of ArcHydro Tools are also available and work (although I've not yet checked the Pro builds against Pro 1.4, but expect it is fine). Stuart

Upgrade the install to 2.7.13 (rel. 2016-12-17) -- it will use the existing path and ArcGIS defaults, you'll be fine. Python Release Python 2.7.13 | Python.org The installer will show you the existing , C:\Python27\ArcGIS10.x If you have the 64-bit background geoprocessor, you'll want to upgrade that as well. That will be C:\Python27\ArcGISx6410.x directory. Upgrading into the directory laid down by the ArcGIS for Desktop install will retain the ability for an ArcGIS uninstallation to also remove the Python 2.7 ArcGIS Pro's Python 3.4 is not compatible for use with ArcGIS for Desktop--and you then have the annoyance of having to manage paths to call the right python version if they are both present. Correct path is configured internally in ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS for Desktop as to which Python to use--for other things you have to do it yourself. Stuart

No, the HECGeoHMS has always bundled the required build of ArcHydro Tools for the build--one of its draw backs. Just uninstall the existing ArcHydro tools instance from your system. Then run the HECGeoHMS installer, it has the correct ArcHydro build bundled with it and will prompt you to install.

Mark, Why install the older 10.4.0.3 (2016-02-06) build instead of the 10.4.0.12 (2016-07-13) build? Ignore the ASCII sort order the Web server lists in, and go by the build number/date to keep current. Stuart
